Yeah, everyone has theories with all these characters but personally I like them being dead. Spike surviving, Lelouch surviving, etc., it kills the drama of their sacrifices/endings.

Jiraiya is sadder of the two since he was an integral part of Naruto's life.

Itachi was sad but he didn't appear until like at the end of the saga.

I bet everyone was thinking about Ibito until he resurfaced later.

Shinjiro Aragaki, in the Persona 3 game. He survived if you play the FeMC though(although FeMC died, just in the moment you get to see him again), but he didn't if you play MC(male).
