Rising Star
~ Type of contest: talent show.
~ What you do: Upload your video showcasing your talent on youtube
~ Requirements: You must provide sufficient evidence that the
person in the video is, indeed you. (Make sure you mention your gaia
username and the reason why you're making the video [i.e. for the
Rising Star contest] in your video. Link this thread in your video.) Post
the link to the video in this thread or, if you wish, private message it to me.
~ Failure to comply with any of the above requirements will result in
the automatic "trashing" of your entry (in other words, it will not be judged)
~ Other: If you can't upload a video to youtube for some reason,
send me a labelled private message. We'll try work something out.

Earthly Inventions
~ Type of contest: Invention
~ What you do: Invent something practical using recycled items
~ Requirements: Your invention should have some day-to-day use
and it should be made out of recycled/soon to be trashed items.
You must also provide sufficient evidence that the invention
is yours. (e.g. make a sign with your gaia username and "Earthly
Inventions" contest). Take a picture of your invention and post it in
the thread (if you don't feel comfortable posting it in the thread,
private message it to me)
~ Failure to comply with any of the above requirements will result in

Bumps for Gold
~ Type of contest: Bump as much as you can until July 31st
~ What you do: Bump as much as you can until July 31st
~ Requirements: Don't just post "bump 1". Write something
of somewhat substance (i.e. what song you're listening to, how
your day was, lyrics to a song, etc.) but label your posts! If there
are other people in the thread, talk to them!
~ Judges:Heartless-Alice, French Toast-or-Jeebus

- Please send me a labelled private message
if you are interested in judging any of the contests. Keep in mind, though,
that you may not participate in the contest(s) you judge
- All contests end on July 31st.
- If I deem a contest to have a lack of participants, the gold will be
distributed amongst the participants according to how I see fit.
- First Place Prize: 250k item (of your choice) + 75k gold
- Second Place Prize: 150k item + 25k gold(of your choice)

Mini Contests:

A. You must convince me you deserve to participate because I don't want to give away my hard worked for money to people who do not try to earn their own money (i.e. beggars)

Q. Do I have to participate in a contest to get the chance to be given something?
A. No. I'll be giving out non-contest related items as well. Refer to "The Procedure" post.

Q. What is a sponsor?
A. A sponsor is a person who paid 3k to be put in the "sponsors" post

Q. Why are some sponsors featured?
A. These sponsors paid 2k more to be featured for a week.

Q. How do I become a sponsor?
A. Private message me with the request and the link to your advertisement.
Then send the trade with the money.

Q. How do I become a judge?
A. Send me a labelled private message with the contest(s) you want to judge

Q. Can I enter in more than one contest?
A. Why certainly. You can participate in any and all of the contests.

Q. Can I have more than one entry?
A. Yes. You can have as many entries as you want.
