You could try making string friendship bracelets. All the fun of a jewelry bracelets without having to carry beads around with you!
you know whats hard to do? put the jump wire back on dangly earrings. if thats not a PITA then i dunno what is.

be more specific, what materials are you using?

my materials are wire cord and plastic beads and stuff

Do you mean plastic coated wire (ie beadalon), elastic, beading wire, craft wire, or what?
For beadalon, you need a crimp bead and a clasp, elastic will untie itself easily unless you use a fisherman's knot or something similar, I don't recommend beading wire for anything that's going to be stressed (I'd only use it for beaded flowers or something that's not going to be worn, it tends to be brittle in my experience), as for craft wire, it is usually too soft to hold it's shape without help, such as heating or hammering. If you were using an actual beading thread I'd say just dab some glue or clear polish on the knot, I do that to reinforce the knots when I'm beadweaving a piece and add a string.
As to the design aspect, most people struggle with that part. It's easy enough to figure out what you like, simply by experimentation, but making things for other people is much more difficult, depending on how well you know them. It may help to sketch your ideas, use a color wheel to find colors that work together, or have a tray that can hold several pieces in progress so you can see them at a glance without disturbing them.
making jewelery isn't hard you just need to know how to make it
Imagine if you were a metals major with me. Now that's hard. And time consuming.

I can tell you.

what about using square knots, they are pretty simple
Have you thought of using clasps?

The fisherman's knot works really well...

I don't care, I'm still free...

There are different knots you can use to make it hold better. I'm sure you're using the same kind of knot you use to tie your shoes, but that falls apart super easy.

Try looking on the internet for different knots. I don't know how to describe the knot I use, or what it's called, but it holds well...

It just takes practice D:
Ehhh. I got a new jewerly making kit and every time I try to tie a bracelet together, it falls apart! On top of that, the designing is hard, too!!
