Follow the Terms of Service.

Not following them will get you reported.

Do not advertise.

It's alright if it's in your signature, but not in your post. Ask one of the co-owners beforehand to see if it is fine to promote something.

No drama/drama-causing agents such as complaining about trades or personal blacklists will be tolerated within the thread.

Be mature and talk out problems in PMs. Let’s keep the thread a healthy, drama-free place.

Skip obvious rule breakers.

Examples of obvious rule breakers are people who don’t have at least 3 lines in their post or do not have 500 posts and were not given permission to post. Donate to whoever is above them.

Mules

Use of a mule along with a main account is not allowed.

Don't ever delete posts.

Ever. Even if you double posted (i.e. accidentally posted under yourself), just leave it. This ensures that nobody gets away with receiving a gift without giving one.

Only the staff are allowed to do 'skip me' posts.

No exceptions. Once you post, you donate.

No Backseat Modding.

Backseat modding is when you try to handle a situation normally done by a co-owner or moderator (e.g. calling someone out on bringing drama into the thread). If somebody breaks a rule, report it to a co-owner and they will handle the situation properly.

You must have a minimum post count of 500.

If you have less than 500 posts then in order to post you must PM a co-owner, and ask for permission.
Be sure to put who gave you permission in every post so that everyone will know that you are allowed to post here. Permission to post is NOT transferable between accounts.

You must have your profile and PMs set to everyone.

This way we can contact you if there are any issues. If you’d rather not have your profile and PMs public then set it to friends and add a co-owner.

You must have 3 or more lines in your post.

People will skip you if you do not have three lines in your post. Definition of three lines is
having TEXT of three lines, emoticons do not count, quests and lists also do not count. We
highly encourage conversations, so please talk to each other!

You are given 3 strikes.

Strikes are given out every time you break any rule. Once you've gotten 3, you are automatically banned.

The minimum donation is 5b/500 plat and must be sent via TRADE.

Donating the minimum donation repeatedly will result in a strike.
Constantly giving people starter items, [Animal] items, and/or junk items are also disallowed unless the person above you wants said item(s). Items are valued by whichever is lower, ABP or LMP. For gold shop items, we value them by sell back price. [Animal] items are now considered junk as some users have been abusing them as donations

No Profiting/Lowballing

This is a thread meant to GIVE not profit off of. Constant trades of 5b/500 plat and below will be considered as profiting/lowballing and will result in an automatic ban.

Gift backs are mandatory.

Unacceptable gift backs are trash, flowers, alchemy items (includes caches), sponsor, home, aquarium and daily chance items (unless asked for it). You must fill 1 trade slot with a GB for every 1b. Example: 1b = 1 GB item, 2b = 2 GB items, 3b = 3 GB items etc. For gold donations, a gold GB is optional. Gold GBs MUST be at least 10% of the donation given. If a user fails to put in the proper GB please politely PM them and ask them to fix the trade. If the trade is not fixed after 48 hours, you may cancel the trade.

Sending trades identical/near identical to ones recently received

This is when you give the person above you almost the same thing they gave you. We understand that items may be circulated between users in the thread. However, trades mimicking ones that have been sent to you in multiple ways can be both insulting and greedy. Please keep the person you are donating to in mind when developing a trade.

Never lower a donation.

That’s just rude. Raising a donation is fine though.

You must donate to the person above you before posting again.

This is to avoid accidentally skipping others.

No robotic posting.

The point of this thread is for making new friends, and you can't do that by posting the same thing over and over again. Examples of robotic posting include saying thank you three lines in a row to complete the line minimum or continuously filling a post with just greetings/emoticons.

No Robotic trading

Robotic trading is donating the same amount each time.

Sandwiching is allowed.

Sandwiching is when you post above a person and then below the same person consecutively. If you sandwich someone,
you must donate at least double the minimum or more. This must be done in separate trades. Do not send back what that
person gave you. It's basically saying you don't like it and don't want it.
