Bwahahaha google maps. ;D [the city I'm from]

We have the longest single-span chairlift in the southern hemisphere (possibly the world)? xD It's all I can think of at the moment.
Leafy Wahroonga on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, Australia. smile The 'leafy' part is adopted colloquially. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Stupid cat next door scares some of it off. mad Sound of lizards scattering was you walk up the driveway in summer is awesome. It's a largely affluent area, but the biggest mansions belong to these spiders that build unbelievable 3D communal webs.

I live in San Angelo, Texas. In the words of Wikipedia - "As an early frontier town, San Angelo was characterized by saloons, prostitution, and gambling."

So, it hasn't changed much. XD

Oh, and apparently many spies live here.
I click your link. And I get banned for three days.
Thanks.
Thanks a lot.

I lurve it when I find Sydney-based gaians. xD

I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I only just recently moved here though. It's a crazy place with seals swimming by the shore, organic restaurants on every corner, and everybody owns a dog!

You're forgetting the Crab-Hunters whipping nets attached to barrel rings and singing "PUT THA CRAB IN THA BUCKET!"

Or maybe that's just my uncle who does that...

Anyways, The reason Victoria has parliment buildings is because they where affraid America would take Vancouver if they didn't put them there.

I went to St. George's school on a student exchange in 2006. Stunning views, rain, really nice people, similar culture to Australia. whee

The climate pretty much stays the same there. Cool, wet, and moderate.

I wish the Hamiltonian area was like that. No, we have great lakes, causing freezing, snowy winters(not complaining! =}) and Hot, sticky, humid, gross disgusting summers(is complaining).
I live in Oregon, in the town where a famous Rhode Island Red rooster named Big Red lived (before he was mauled and killed by a dog in June '06 ;__; ). He was a symbol of the town -- he was in parades and stuff like that, and you'd see him around town, too. Big Red's caretaker brought him to my school once, a few years back. We all miss him. D:

I live in a suburb about 45 min away from Philadelphia.

:O So do I! Maybe not 45 minutes, but I do live in a suburb near Philadelphia.

Our borough has special events every so often, like sidewalk sales and festivals. It's quite fun even though I'm technically not from that area since I live on the fringe of that borough and a different city...thing. razz It's a cozy little "walking town" and there are some nice little boutique-y shops such as Maido! and Le Petite Mitron, a small Japanese store and a French patisserie respectively.
I live in the san francisco bay area, more specificaly the east bay. Lets just say that my suburb town is surrounded by boring yellowish hills and is known for always having nice weather (but only if by nice you think of it being 95 degrees outside every day with no rain and no clouds =/ )

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Calgary Stampede, or 'The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth,' always seems to coincide with Calgary's Most Kick-Ass Thunderstorms EVAH. I love laughing at all the tourists fleeing for cover from the half-inch hail and deafening lightning. heart
I live near Houston, and even nearer to Port Authur. smile Down here is nice, but almost always hot, I've actually used my AC in December and February a few times. Not to say we don't see the white stuff...but it never lasts. Christmas Eve in 2004, we saw snowflakes for about 2 hours. My only encounter so far. xd We also have the world's largest fire hydrant, courtesy of Disney. We're a small town, but we have a Wal-mart and a mall, so we can't be too bad off. It's pretty pleasant, if you like a quiet lifestyle.
I Live. In. Utah. gonk

I live in City Center, Eagle Mountain. (Which yes, it IS in the middle of nowhere. We have deer, coyotes, and bunnies around our homes. neutral )

EDIT: They are building a Wal-Mart near here. biggrin
