Hi,
In which city do you live? Sure I have access to all kinds of web traffic data which shows where our members are, but where’s the fun in that? xd
It’s much more fun to read a description of a user’s part of the world, written in their own words. For example, I know a user who lives in Gilroy, CA, aka “the garlic capital of the world.” He describes his town as “the smelliest, pungent part of the south bay that stays with you in your clothes, hair, and breath (even if you didn’t eat any).”
I live in Sunnyvale, which is only 20 minutes away from San Jose, CA. Sunnyvale used to be full of cherry orchards decades ago, but virtually all the land has been converted to support the surrounding high tech industries. Here's a map of the city.
So, leave me a post below with a tidbit about your neck of the woods. Feel free to link to a map of your city if it’s not a well known place. For safety reasons and because it'd be a TOS violation (I don't want any of you to get banned), don’t give out any more details than city, state/province/etc, and country. Especially if you live in a city with a population of only 21 people. biggrin
The above is a part of a series of topics I’ll be writing about every few days. When the next topic is written, I’ll add a link to it here so that it’s easier to "follow the chapters” as they unfold. So check back here often.
‘til next time.
Tae
