This would make sense except that it doesn't acknowledge the fact that Ash is blatantly gay and in love with Gary. It also says James is "implied" to be homosexual which is absolutely false...in the US, James' original voice actor affected this really stereotypically gay voice, but this was never the case in Japan. The US dub was also the one that threw in stupid gay jokes. And the crossdressing is a Japanese joke based on Kabuki theater, not an implication of homosexuality. James is quite obviously in love with Jessie and actually marries her in the manga.
Anyways I read the whole thing and yeah, it's really neat, it's cool.
No, James is gay. You've obviously never been to Pokemopolis. Also the manga is like a professionally published Pokemon fancomic, since the show came first.
I've been to Pokemopolis and was even friends with Lex, and it's frankly an idiotic site and Lex is kind of...I won't say anything against her since we used to be friends. But yeah, that site is based on a bunch of silly dub stuff and it will go to any ridiculous lengths to deny that James is het. When that final issue of the manga first came out, Pokemopolis actually tried to say "You don't that James is the one who got her pregnant and married her, it could have been Giovanni!" Wow, REALLY reaching there, people. Later on they switched over the slightly less ridiculous "fancomic" explanation. But the manga is NOT simply a "fancomic," it's an OFFICIAL Pokemon comic endorsed BY the creators of Pokemon. In Japan you actually can publish all the unofficial fan comics you want- Ono's manga is NOT one of these, it was actually officially endorsed. And yes the show came first, but the manga came out during the early years of the show so it's pretty darn old as well. Even if you discard the manga there are very, very obvious implications in the show that James is in love with Jessie. And as I said, all the supposed "gay" evidence is stupid dub-added stuff, and even the dub-added stuff is just based on lame stereotypes of homosexuals. A guy can actually be submissive and a crossdresser WITHOUT being gay, I've known tons of them in my real life.
