I would concentrate on finding things you love to do and loving yourself if I were you.

Right now? Maybe you're presenting yourself as clumsy, unkempt, childish, hidden away. What will make you feel fantastic about yourself? You don't have to dress like a trendy movie star, but you have to remember that a cleaner look is typically more mature and can be very attractive. Not to mention, the most important thing is that you're smiling and expressing yourself in positive ways. Showcasing your personality is THE most attractive thing. Hang out with friends. Really fall in love with something. Go to events on campus. Work hard. Meet quality people. Feel nice everyday. (When I feel lousy, eating something good, showering, combing my hair, and dressing nicely/comfortably make me feel much better.)

Remember - you have to love yourself first and foremost. That way, you can take care of yourself regardless of who you attract.

Forget about who you are, and think about how compatible you are. It's a positive thing that you have survived the overrated drama in your young teen years, most girls even get knocked up and lives changed forever, but you're still free, open, available, you have options. You have something most 19 year old girls don't have, a clean history, and that can get you a caring guy with good moral values similar to your own. I know this isn't advice, it's positive reinforcement, that's what you sounded like you needed. There's somebody out there for everyone. Just find a guy who doesn't care about specifics, someone who will give you what you want, I would date you, even though preferably you're not exactly my "dream girl" so just give people a chance. Maybe you're just hanging out with the wrong crowd, I had a female friend like you, but she was a lesbian, and lived in the ghetto, her options were terrible and she ended up being stuck with pot smoking losers and never escaped the drama.
