I remember in my 8th grade year I saw a male 7th grader with a Bible. He had a crush on me, and was upset I didn't date him because he carried around a Bible to class. When he asked me why, I told him that I don't date Bible thumpers.

Which makes you a biiiiigot. That'd be like some dumb b***h getting pissy at me if I was reading the Qur'an.

Though I know I had the mindset that I was a reble for being an atheist back then, it wasn't like I was telling him he couldn't read it. I just told him that I don't date guys that are that dedicated to their religion to bring their religious text to school. But yes, I was being a bit of a bigot. It was 8th grade though.

Ok..I believe that there's no reason to be so overly religious..but thats my opinion about the whole thing..people all over the world have some type of belief..i personally am one of the few realistic Christians left in this world..meaning that i hacked away all the nonsense of this religion..like the bible..i took all of the overly done parts of it and got it down to the nitty-gritty of the whole book..this is why christian nuts get on my nerves so much..but i let people do about with their own business until they go over the edge with it..which happens a lot

I agree with what you said about the over-exaggeration of the Bible. That is common.

However, when you said that you only follow the parts that you singled out, well, that bothered me. :l

And then you had to gall to state that you were a realistic Christian. Dude, a "realistic" Christian does not exist. Why? Because ALL Christians are realistic. I exist. You exist. They exist. You're not that special. In fact, you seem to think you're so special that you have more logic than God Himself.

Here's a tip: If a person only follows what He or she thinks is logical enough to be followed, and that his or her own perception of the Bible is correct, then he or she is committing one of the worst acts of sin, correcting God. The Bible does not need to be broken down to the "nitteh-gritteh".

One problem I want to point out with what you said.
You act as if agnostics are against Christians.
There's no one less against proving God's nonexistence than Agnostics.
Hell, some Christians are Agnostic.
