no one really knows when the world will end, but in the Bible it says in Matthew 24:6-8: "And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." also it shows us signs of the coming again of the Lord
This verse wouldn't happen to refer to the war in Iraq, would it?
That verse has been used as proof of the end times for every war, plague, and natural disaster ever since it was written. The nice thing about prophesying turmoil is that there WILL ALWAYS BE TURMOIL.
Dunamis - I don't think that being a believer somehow makes things better for you if the world ends. Generally (not always), if someone chooses not to believe in God or an afterlife, then they have accepted that there is no God or afterlife, and it won't bother them any more than it would a believer.
