Where/how did you meet your S.O/crush?
-- On Plenty of Fish. I was frustrated with guys and feeling a bit forever alone, so I tried a dating website.

When did you realise you started liking them?
-- I began liking my boyfriend after our first few messages. Right off the bat he was very polite, and we started asking questions back and forth about what we liked and didn't like. We had a whole bunch in common!

When/how did you or your S.O confess?
-- About three months into the relationship, we were on facebook and he'd left for a minute to take a shower. When he came back and I asked how it was, he said it was good and that he was thinking a lot. I asked what about, and he wouldn't say, insisting that he wanted to wait until we saw each other next. I ended up prying it out of him anyway; he'd realized that he loved me the day before. Now I wish I'd waited until we were together in person for him to say that. I have a way ruining good surprises with him. D:

Happiest memory together/favourite things to do/favourite date?
-- I think my favorite memory is the day I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with him. I worked really hard on his gift; I made him a birthday cake, a card, and I bought him a canvas picture of The Beatles, his favorite band. He was so happy that day! I was glad I could make, as he says, "the best birthday ever" happen for him.

I met him a few years ago at a friend, we were playing monopoly. Back then, I did not find him interesting at all.Two summers ago, I met him again, at this party. We talked a lot, and enjoyed him a lot. I could not get him out of my head the weeks afterwards, and finally, I asked him to watch a movie with me. From then on, it was pretty obvious that he liked me.
We rarely do ''special'' things on our dates. We most of the time just hang out and watch a movie. If we go somewhere together, we often go to the movies, or playing games with friends. We once went to this amusement park together. Although we don't do ''special'' things on most of our dates, they are special to me, and I enjoy them a lot.
Cute story xp It's funny how things turn out nu?
Yeah it is! C: And I also think it is funny that when I met my boyfriend for the first time, I thought he was scary. But right now? I don't think he is at all!
We met here on Gaia almost 8 years ago. We were best friends for almost 5 years before I knew I had to be with him. I was still in high school and mid-winter break had just started. I left him a PM one night and told him how I felt. I waited up all night wondering about his reaction. Needless to say we started dating. We stayed long distance for a long time, almost a year. After that he moved in and its been great since. Our 3 year anniversery is coming up the week after Valentines day.
I met him on an AIM video game chatroom. Lulz.

I realized I started really liking him two weeks after we started talking again. My boyfriend thinks I'm bad at tracking time that it was the same day, but we were talking for two months. Idk. (Besides that, we had about a two-year gap of not talking. I forget how long we were talking for before that: a couple of months?) So, it's really convoluted. We first started talking when I was 15, and he was 19. We didn't start talking again till I was 19, and he was 23. We were really lucky because I deleted him on AIM having no idea whose that screenname belonged to. Also, the gap of not talking was because I don't go on AIM during school, and I just totally stopped going on it. I only went back on AIM as a way to talk to my college buds, and my boyfriend (not boyfriend at the time) IMed me saying "Who's this?"

I pretty much confessed that night I felt like I was hit by a truck of hearts. So, two weeks/months (whoever's right) in.

Happiest memory is me visiting him in Florida. Favorite thing to do is basically doing anything together. I can't really pinpoint. Favorite date was going to Busch Gardens, if that counts.

It's obviously a long-distant relationship.

Where/how did you meet your S.O/crush?
I met my boyfriend 3-4 years ago, through mutual friends. (he's like 3 years older than me btw) I never talked to him then, never paid much attention to him, didn't really acknowledge him much, but I would smile and say "hello" and carry on with my day. Three years later, I came to high school and joined theatre. He grew to be incredibly, irresistibly handsome and he's a TOTAL gentleman, so of course I could not help but notice him. It was kind of an initial attraction, and I'd see him around the theatre while we were working shows and look at each other and smile, but we never spoke to each other. One day, he started talking to me, and then soon we could not stop talking. We'd talk for hours on end every night. We later found that we're perfectly compatible and even though we were a bit hesitant to try a relationship because of the age difference and him going off to college, but we decided it was worth a shot. It's been going absolutely great so far, he's the best boyfriend anyone could ask for. emotion_kirakira

When did you realise you started liking them?
It was an initial attraction, but the more I talked to him, the more I realized how much I was into him.

When/how did you or your S.O confess?
We were always kinda flirty from the beginning, and we kinda just knew that we liked each other, so he never directly told me what he felt about me the moment after he asked me out on a date. rofl

Happiest memory together/favourite things to do/favourite date?
Every moment with him is a happy moment. One of my most favourite dates with him definitely has to be the picnic. I told him while we were only talking that I've always wanted to go on a picnic up in the hills near the canyon during the night time, underneath the stars. One time, he totes surprised me with it, we ditched during the middle of a tech rehearsal and he took me there and had everything set up there, and he cooked food for me and everything. It was the cutest thing in the world. crying heart

Not that I can think of, no. emotion_kirakira
My husband and I met in high school. Our Senior English class actually. He gave me a hug one day randomly, we talked, I gave him my number, he called when he said he would, and here we are 10 years later.

I liked him right away. We "confessed" to each other about 3 months in with fumbled "I THINK I love you".

My happiest memory with him is probably a tie between getting married and finding out we are having a son. I imagine the birth will rank pretty highly up there as well.

We watch a lot of movies and go out to dinner a lot. We also like to hike. I can't really remember my favorite date ever. We've been together for 10 years, there's a lot of them.

On OkCupid. I was actually on there trying to find a girl with no luck, so I switched to looking for men. He was the first to pop up on my facebook and say hi. We have been together for seven months. heart

Met him at school when i was 15.
I realized i liked him that same year.
neither one of us confessed, we just kinda came together and he asked me out. Then 2 months later on v-day he asked me to marry him. I was 16, he was 17.
Happiest memory would probly when we got married 7/16/11. I was 18 and he was 19. now we r 19&20
I got really drunk at a party and he took care of me all night. I don't even remember it. The next day, I invited him to a Halloween party at my place. We kissed, then he spontaneously started going down on me even though I had already warned him I was on my period.

We've been together since then 4laugh

...but no, really
My girlfriend and I met in our junior year of high school! We ended up in a specialized art program together. Technically we met at the end of sophomore year - we were both auditioning for the program at the same time, and I thought she was really cute. Then we both got in and I recognized her on the first day and introduced myself kinda sheepishly. Thought she was even cuter. We got together about a month later.

We only dated for two months at first. I was kind of this really exciting, fun little affair I guess. We knew we were together, but she wasn't totally out to her family, so it wasn't exactly something we made "Facebook official" and all. We broke up when her mother found out and freaked out. But then a year later, senior year of high school, we got back together - and have been together since. I guess that's when I count the relationship really starting because even though it began in junior year, we made it real senior year. We had grown a bit and could handle it a bit more.

Happiest memory was probably getting to go to Key West together. After we graduated high school we decided to keep going long distance, and after we made it through our first year of college (me in Massachusetts, her in Florida) we rewarded ourselves with a trip to Key West! I flew down to where she was, stayed for a few days, then we drove six hours (there and back!) to Key West for a few days. The whole ride was beautiful and sunny, but what was better was finally being able to be all alone together. We got to be adults on our own, away from our parents and colleges and real lives. It was perfect.

We're almost at our two year anniversary (since getting together senior year; from junior year it would be over three years now)! It's at the end of February, so this month is kind of jam-packed full of lovey-dovey crap. I don't necessarily care about getting presents or anything... But Valentine's Day is a nice acknowledgement that we've made it this far, so sending a doodle or a card is really enough for me. <3
this is kinda sad but I'll share...

Where/how did you meet your S.O/crush?
We met ninth grade but didn't really get aquainted until after her boyfriend died. I offered myself as a friend for her to vent to.
When did you realise you started liking them?
At her boyfriend's funeal. =/ He was a friend of mine, too and so I was there for me, but when she hugged me she held my hand and I wasn't about to let her go. When I looked at her while we were sitting in the pew, I just kept thinking to myself how beautiful she was and I was like "s**t!"
When/how did you or your S.O confess?
It was a few months later and we were in biology together and a friend at the time spilled that she liked someone. I expected it was her ex-boyfriend because I had heard a rumor that she liked him again and so I pestered her. Eventually she told me it was me and when I told her she didn't believe me. We got together a month later when I finally was able to convince her that I really did like her and I was serious about being in a same-sex relationship.
Happiest memory together/favourite things to do/favourite date?
We play video games, wrestle around, and just cuddle. Those are the major activities that we enjoy. We do pretty much everything together. My favorite memory was when I took her out to dinner and to her first concert. ^^
Anything else you'd like to share.
We've been together for a year and a quarter and still very happy.
Where/how did you meet your S.O/crush?
-In here. Eh. I created a thread, he PM'd me about it... I thought it was nothing, people PM me all the time because I'm that ******** awesome. So yeah I wasn't really uh, expecting things to escalate.

When did you realise you started liking them?
-Took me months, man. I was really afraid of opening up my heart again. I was heartbroken when I met him, so took me like a couple of months to be like "I think I'm starting to like this dude".

When/how did you or your S.O confess?
-After 3 days of talking to each other lol
I thought he was kidding and at first I kinda rejected him. I just didn't give him a concrete answer. That didn't stop him from going after me and I guess that's why I end up returning the feeling. I just wanted to make sure he was just ******** around with me or something.

Valentine's Day isn't that important to me, but I've been corny as ******** lately.
I originally met my current S.O. in a Ceramics class, when we had a new seating arrangement, so I had to sit next to him and his friends.
Weirdest thing was, I always ended up crushing on his friends, but never him, haha.

I think I realized that I started having feelings for him after he let me borrow his sweater during lunch, and I ended up going out of my way to avoid having to run into him after class to give it back, so I went around the whole school and ran home so I would be able to keep his sweater for the rest of the weekend.
I ended up using it as a pillow until I had to give it back the following Monday, haha.
I'm still in the process of realizing my feelings for him, but I can honestly say that I like him more and more each day. It's just taking me awhile, seeing as how I'm a bit of a commitment phobe.

              emotion_sweatdrop

On a Friday, after we were dismissed of lunch, he told me that he wanted to see me after class. He ended up waiting outside the building for me, and immediately came up to me and asked me out. It startled me so much! I asked for his number, and told him that I'd think about it and let him know. I also told him that he had a big pair, and that I admired his confidence before leaving.
I told him that I wanted to go out with him that night. Now I keep regretting saying so to being so happy to be in a relationship. It's horrible being a commitment phobe! But I'm going to really try to make this last as long as I can.

              emotion_c8

Haven't gone on an official date yet.
But I'm hoping that the weekend after the next, we can go on a group date with our best friends ( who are currently dating ), and go to the zoo, or something like that.
I admit though, I just love hanging out with him, and watching him play his bass. It's really cool!

              emotion_bigheart

I'm just hoping I can get over the anxiety and constant panic attacks of being in a relationship.
              And that I don't ******** anything up.
