Valentines day isn't much of an important event to my bf and I, we usually just exchange presents and letters then have a nice date. I'm going to gift him a game (though he doesn't know which one yet xp ) and I found out that he was going to get me some of these mini-fluffy owl plushies! emotion_kirakira This is our 5th valentines day that we're going to be celebrating together. whee

1.) Online. It was during a period in my life when I was trying to study all religions everywhere, having lost my faith in Christianity. I wound up on a Pagan website, asked a few questions and she IM'd me.

2.) I was in an abusive relationship with a girl who treated me like s**t, would yell at me, occasionally hit me a bit. Whoo. Fun s**t. As time passed with me wife, I began to realize that I loved her, because she treated me like my opinions mattered, and that I had a mind of my own.

3.) I shied away for a while, but she chased after, and eventually got me to admit it.

4.) Getting married / Just hanging out / honestly, our dates are almost always spontaneous.

Where/how did you meet your S.O/crush?
A public park and by getting rejected by someone else I was interested in. He was there to comfort me^^

When did you realise you started liking them?
That night, actually.

That night on Gaia.

Our first date, he took me to a concert. On the anniversary of our first date, we went and saw the same band. Pretty awesome.

When did you realise you started liking them?
Well he messaged me and we hit it off right away. We found out we live very close to eachother so we exchanged numbers. We've known eachother for 5 months and I started liking them a few weeks into our friendship.

When/how did you or your S.O confess?
I'd say about a month or so into the friendship.

Happiest memory together/favourite things to do/favourite date?
Since it's an LDR, we video/voice call but our first voice call made me really happy.
So, all of our video/voice calls will be my favourite until we meet.

Anything else you'd like to share.
I love him more than anyone else in the world, he means everything to me. I've never loved anyone as much as I love him and I wish we could spend our first valentines day together.

Almost a complete stranger. We'd hung out in a group of mutual friends once or twice before, but never one on one and we hadn't talked one on one before that either.

Oh! I love telling this story! ^_^

1)My husband and I met by complete happenstance. His group of friends usually do a 2 week long get together to do anything/everything nerdy(D&D, MtG, video games, movies, other roleplays, etc) every few months. My husband lived several hours away but he was stay at his best friend's girlfriend's house for those 2 weeks. Said girlfriend has spoken to me once/twice before several years prior. We both knew who the other was, we just didn't click as friends, we always stayed acquaintances. She messaged me on facebook inviting me to this 2 week event, in hopes that I would bring people that they could incorporate into their group. I went with some friends even though the only people I knew there were just acquaintances. I rang the doorbell, he answered it. emotion_kirakira TL;DR We met playing D&D, I knew no one there

2)I started liking him almost immediately, but I didn't realize it for a day or two.

3)We could both tell that we liked each other. I especially noticed when he didn't go home after the 2 week long event. On the last night, he was supposed to go with his best friend and his girlfriend to a club, then head home. He lived several hours away, but decided to sleep over at my friend's place. Someone he never met, just to hang out with me more. A few days later he sent me a text saying "if you haven't noticed, I really like you."

4)Our first date wasn't until after we started going out. We had hung out everyday since the event started, but never any dates. We went to see Tangled and to dinner. We both agreed it was the most comfortable first date either of us have ever had.

5)After the event, he actually never went home. He couch surfed for a while, then his dad bought him a car. He slept out of the car for about a month. He got a hold of his grandparents, who lived about a block or two away from me and moved in with them. The only time he went home was when we went to go grab his stuff to move him into his grandparents'. He stayed just to be close to me emotion_kirakira

I met him a few years ago at a friend, we were playing monopoly. Back then, I did not find him interesting at all.Two summers ago, I met him again, at this party. We talked a lot, and enjoyed him a lot. I could not get him out of my head the weeks afterwards, and finally, I asked him to watch a movie with me. From then on, it was pretty obvious that he liked me.
We rarely do ''special'' things on our dates. We most of the time just hang out and watch a movie. If we go somewhere together, we often go to the movies, or playing games with friends. We once went to this amusement park together. Although we don't do ''special'' things on most of our dates, they are special to me, and I enjoy them a lot.
