I'm pro-horse steak..
The s**t tastes good, and the only moral difference is that cows aren't held as ridable animals.

I have always wanted to taste horse meat. It SOUNDS delicious.

I am also scared shitless of horses.... they're huge, with giant bitey teeth and stompy feet. I hate them. I only VERY recently patted a horse on the head for the first time EVER at a petting zoo from behind a fence and I was seriously trembling with fear. So I could eat one.

Unfortunately, my fiance is a pescetarian(he only eats vegetarian foods and fish) and he gets upset at me when I eat ANY other animal. Much less horses, which he likes a lot. stare
I miss eating duck. He says they're too cute to eat... and yeah, they're cute, but DAMN they taste good.

I want to try eating horse.
Depending on how good it is I may revise my opinion.
I've had bear meat, and MAN, no one needs to eat bear. UGH, it's sorta gross.

This is about the Slaughter Ban that was enacted in the US. While the meat is a purpose for which horses were slaughtered in the US, it's not the main point in what I'm trying to get people to talk about in here.

I do thank you for your input though. Having a bit of a frustrated moment here as this was moved to the Chatterbox and taken out of the ED. (pissed)
