Lol proof plox.

Quote:
Heterosexual: A person sexually attracted to persons of the opposite sex. Or a person who has sexual relations with the opposite sex. Colloquially known as "straight."

http://www.medterms.com/

Which doesn't prove they can't flirt with people of the same sex.
Of course it dosn't. You can't prove a negative, you know that.

Proof plox.

You and Temba are both hypocrites.

You, my friend, are as much of a hypocrite as the rest of us.

Ok thats wikkipedia.. that can be changed at any time by the original person who posted it. schools colleges and universities dont accept wikkipedia and niether do I.

*eyeroll* Yes, because the Big Gay Agenda is going to go and add whole sections to the Wikisource for this, and no one is going to notice.

Still, there's no point arguing, since you can find the exact same text at the Library of Congress.

Quote:
(3) CONSTRUCTION AND APPLICATION.—

Nothing in this division, or an amendment made by this division, shall be construed or applied in a manner that infringes any rights under the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States. Nor shall anything in this division, or an amendment made by this division, be construed or applied in a manner that substantially burdens a person's exercise of religion (regardless of whether compelled by, or central to, a system of religious belief), speech, expression, or association, unless the Government demonstrates that application of the burden to the person is in furtherance of a compelling governmental interest and is the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest, if such exercise of religion, speech, expression, or association was not intended to—

(A) plan or prepare for an act of physical violence; or

(B) incite an imminent act of physical violence against another.

(4) FREE EXPRESSION.—

Nothing in this division shall be construed to allow prosecution based solely upon an individual's expression of racial, religious, political, or other beliefs or solely upon an individual's membership in a group advocating or espousing such beliefs.

(5) FIRST AMENDMENT.—

Nothing in this division, or an amendment made by this division, shall be construed to diminish any rights under the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

(6) CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTIONS.—

Nothing in this division shall be construed to prohibit any constitutionally protected speech, expressive conduct or activities (regardless of whether compelled by, or central to, a system of religious belief), including the exercise of religion protected by the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States and peaceful picketing or demonstration. The Constitution of the United States does not protect speech, conduct or activities consisting of planning for, conspiring to commit, or committing an act of violence.

Have you ever looked into the ways in which bias shows itself in the media and how to spot it? Or have you ever watched a different news source and compared how it presents events with how Fox does?

You can't sue a news station for being biased; they have freedom of expression, which means they can say whatever they like however biased it is.

(Also, while we're on the topic of unis accepting certain sources: The mere thought of using Fox News as a source for one of my uni classes... I'm pretty sure my tutors would have rather I used Wiki!)

See this is EXACTLY WHY I don't bother with proof half the time, you ask for proof, you disregard it and ask for proof again. WTF is the point giving your proof if your going to disregard it any way.

I'm going to keep this quote right here saved.

I don't mind them. I mean, they *are* normal people just like everyone else. Some of them can be bitchy and irritating, but you know what? Straight people can, too. So really, people are people. A person's orientation isn't a problem with me, I just care about whether they're assholes or not.

They are NOT normal people. If so then they wouldnt be gay. Homosexuality is not normal.

And a person with blond and red streaks in e's hair is abnormal as well. I do not believe that this was what nightmare meant when e said 'normal.' Rather, that the single abnormality of homosexuality does not so far remove the homosexual from the rest of humanity in order to be considered abnormal on a more broad basis, such as with personality, overall behavior, etc.

This is exactly what I meant. Sorry for not really clarifying earlier, I wasn't exactly all the way awake yet... ^__^U

Yes. I hate them. All of them. Gays are not people.

In fact, anybody who supports gays is not a person as far as I am concerned.

Apparently, they are people unfortunately. And I am really not that much of a GBLT supporter just because it is just downright unnatural, dur. I think those kind of people shouldn't really show themselves to the public with that.... I need to do HW so I will subscribe to this to see what people have to say about it, and I will not read or respond to PM's, promise I will respond to your ranting when I get back... 3nodding

Oh yeah, and sexuality is not an equal in any way like religion ok. Homosexuality is just an excuse for sad dumb people to be recognized as a homo. Really dumb, and picking to be homo IS a choice. Even if you live with homo parents.

no one should hate anyone for their opinion or beliefs ~_~

I disagree with gay marriage and such, but some of my best friends are gay. Having said this, people who think 'gays are sinners and need to rot!' need to lay off, I'm christian as well and I don't think anyone should say that about anyone that does something they don't agree with or dislike.
I could never be "friends" with someone who didn't see me as enough of an equal to be supportive of me having certain basic rights in society. I couldn't be friends with someone who thought it was appropriate that I am excluded from fundamental institutions in society because my partner and I are of the same gender. That is inherently a relationship that lacks basic respect between the parties involved, and as a person with dignity I could never abide by that. I find it sad that your gay "friends" tolerate implicitly being regarded as inferior by someone who is supposed to be a friend.
It's nice that you're against that brand of violent, mouth-foaming bigotry, but I find it very unfortunate that you still endorse unacceptable, and yet still bigoted viewpoints.

That's just it though. Seen from our perspective, you're the bigot. You're the one in the wrong. It works both ways. The same person could say I could never be friends with someone who has a p***s and has sex with a another p***s. To me, that's revolting. But, if it's your preference, have at it. Just don't shove it down my throat ( no pun intended) that your gay and proud.

Ok I will reitterate what I said Its a hate speech bill or at least part of it is. hate speech can and will be defined by people because it is certainly not defined in the bill. That is why christians such as myself and others find that bill disturbing.. until it is defined christians have something to worry about.

Of course it's defined. There's even an extensive section in it specifically to say that free speech is completely protected.

Um... So basically, if something says it's fair and unbiased, you just... believe it? Without actually paying attention to any of its reporting and seeing if it is or not?

We don't get it over here, obviously, but I've watched bits on the internet and the bias is practically blinding. Though I'm used to the BBC for my news, so maybe it's just by comparison.

The hate crimes bill.. And The U.S.A.. What I dont get is that now its illegal to express that someone doesnt like gays but its ok to say someone hates christians? or someone hates catholics? or someone hates Muslims? or someone hates buddists? weres the religious hate speech law? And I was recently told that all gays and lesbians and bisexuals and transexuals all love everyone else.. I find that hard to believe.. a few years ago a girl was beaten and raped by a group of lesbians in a public highschool bathroom because she said something earlier that day that was offensive.

It's not illegal to say you don't like homosexuals. It's illegal to incite violence against homosexuals. You're perfectly free to say anything you want as long as you aren't actually encouraging people to go out and attack gay people (or other crimes, like harassment, vandalising their property, etc)

Religions are also covered under the same hate crime laws and have been for decades.

Come on, I'm a Brit and I know that!
