Let's give you a little background story!

August 3rd, 2009, there is a Summer Camp Event going on. Amongst the fighting one person,
Dinah-Moe-Hum, makes a gift-giving thread for the bruised and battered fighters in the Battleground. There, three people meet, all there to donate their little hearts out. These people are Celebration Gun, Misaki the Cute and myself, Isalace. We became good friends over the thread and wanted to keep talking and donating together after the event finished. So - one of the days, the idea was shared and the rest, as they say, is history!

How the thread works; it's simple as simple can be!

You donate your little heart out - to anyone you want (and preferably everyone =D) and you hope people do the same to you. No, there is no assurance you will get even 1 gold but if you are the kind of person we want here that wont matter one wit to you!

Due to the outcome on a vote we took in the thread, the gold we used to collect for the Special Person is now known as the thread gold to be given away as prizes for the games and contests in the thread or for the winners of games on our Girls' youtube channel! AND the guys channel!

A NOTE TO HELP::: Unfortunately, even though there are many beautiful, wonderful, giving people (such as the Hardcorians!), there are a lot of evil people on Gaia as well! Some will want to steal the items and gold you have worked so hard for/been given out of kindness! We want to stop you from losing your gold! Please take note:
Gaia will never ask for your password! If someone PMs you saying that they are a Mod and they need your password THEY ARE LYING. Report them.
Popups aren't always from Gaia! If you see a popup asking for your password while you are scanning around, it is not from Gaia. Enter NOTHING!
Your password is not protected! If someone comes in saying; "Look, people can't see your password if you type it! *********!!!!!" It's a lie. Do not try it for the love of Gaia!

And though it may sound like it, I'm not sucking up either. I just wanted to tell you that what you and your friends are doing with that charity thread is a great thing. I know these kinds of charities definitely weren't around when I first started (before I lost my previous account) and I just wanted to commend you for doing something so generous for the people of Gaia who are so, so terrible at making gold (including myself xD). I didn't know if you'd been thanked other than post-gift, so I figured I should. Thank you.

7- My personal favorite rule from the old donation thread "Don't be a douchbag."

8- Quoting other people's posts is ok, but guys, seriously, I don't want large strings of them. Try to keep it to only 2 or 3 previous quotes in a post! Tidy this place up!

9- We don't want drama. This is a nice place to be - drama is NOT what it is all about! If you have a problem with someone just ignore them - whether actually ignoring them via a click of a button or if you just dont read their posts. Please, there is no need! If you have a problem with someone PM one of the Owners! We can discuss it and sort things out!

10- Only PM us for the above reason - we do not answer to begging. Actually - PM NO ONE on this thread for begging!!!

11- Respect everyone here. Especially me and the mods! God knows we all deserve it!

12- Feel free to post your quest, but unless it's in a link just keep it to every 5 pages or so.

13- BE LITERATE!!! Be literate, be literate, be literate!!! Understand!? Chatspeak make me want to scream and tear my hair out before stuffing it down your throat...

14- No page stretching, it's annoying.

15- Feel free to bump/whatever, just make sure it follows the rules, as long as 1 person is here to talk to there is no reason 4 bumping if no one is here at all then by all means bump away.


16- Don't ignore anyone in this charity and don't be rude to anyone. (back to the no drama rule!)

17- If someone donates to you, say "Thank you!" ok? Shouldn't have to put this as a rule, but I'm just making sure. Also helps sort out who is donating and who isnt.

19- Do not advertise other threads here UNLESS you get permission. You may have links in your sig though, we're not monsters!
