Someone who gets good grades has knowledge and works hard. Anyone can sit around and read a book to learn. no one is going to care how smart you think you are if you have nothing to show

Not necessarily,even a retarded bummer can get some good grade if he/she study and work their assignment just for exam and grades, to get 3.5 CGPA and above is not that hard.Yes anyone can sit around and read a book to learn, but just like the students who going to school/collage/university to just score the exam and the student that go to school/collage/university to gain knowledge, the one that love the knowledge that they learn will always have the upper hand, compare to the other one. Why? Because they know what they learn and know how to use the knowledge that they learned outside the textbook.Ow and if a person are smart and knowledgeable, they'll always have something to show, even if they didn't have those shitty scroll, take Bill Gate for an example, did he wait for the shitty scroll before he become successful?

bill gates created his own company which is obviously a little different than getting a job. And most people who do have their own invention don't get rich, he is a special case. Even if someone goes to school just to get the grades they will still learn because they wont be able to get the grades if they dont know anything. If you walked into a job without anything but your word and just said "dont worry im really smart" they wont even think about hiring you

Yeah sure, those kids that go to school do learn, but the quality of they knowledge are usually poor. Bill Gate a special case? rolleyes and, what kind of idiot would go to an interview like that? rolleyes A student who go to school/collage/university with the intent to gain knowledge will most likely know how to use what they've learn as an edge, surely they'll not do something as embarrassing as that.
