WELCOME TO THE GENTLEMEN'S THREAD! ::synopsis:: The purpose of this thread is to create a safe environment for ladies to escape the twisted theme that the Chatterbox so often takes. This is a chatting, RPing, whatever thread. People come here to talk, to converse, and to genuinely meet people who aren't simply trying to find out if they can convince them to cyber over PM's or what have you. ::the : scene:: The gentlemen's thread is set at a cushy lounge. There are several large winged armchairs which can be used for sitting, reading, sleeping, or just sinking in to. There are couches and loveseats strewn around the room, and even a barcalounger or two. The focus of the room was a large mahogany bar, with any type of drink you could imagine behind it, including some you can't. Also included is a not-so-mini fridge, with all sorts of food available. The peculiarity of the bar was that there were no bartenders; hosts and guests were free to get themselves or others drinks as they pleased. There were windows along the south wall, looking out on a street lined with businesses and little shops. The street itself was not very busy, but the shops were usually bustling during the day. On the north wall there were lines of pool tables and arcade games, in case anyone was ever interested. Down from the bar, on the western side, dart boards were painted on the cork wall. The bar was up on the eastern side of the rectangular room, and the door was right by it onto the street. Off the northern side of the bar there was a closet. To the right of the closet, a door led outside to a patio surrounded by a lawn with park benches, trees, and a fountain. Also, on the northern wall there were restrooms. Another door behind the bar was locked, but everyone knew it led to a staircase which went upstairs to where Blood lived and stayed when he wasn't out in the lounge itself. No one was allowed up there, and no one really wanted to trespass anyway. The whole inside was done up in dark browns and reds to compliment the bar. Heavy drapes on the southern windows were dark red, and the shag carpet was a brownish red hue. Even the pool tables had been done in a dark red instead of the traditional green. ::hosts : of : the : thread:: *these Gentlemen have the responsibility to be in the thread occasionally and to make sure people feel welcome. Always ask to save yourself and them the embarassment. ~Please, if you bring your sexual tension in here, it will not be tolerated. I do not approve of cybering, and this is definately not the thread for it. There is a blacklist, and God forbid I have to use it. ~A lot of people come in here, request a PM, and then leave. I insist, if you have dishonest intentions, DO NOT DO THIS. I will not tolerate it. Some people prefer to chat 1 on 1, or some people don't have time to stick around but want people to strike up conversations with them. I understand these reasons. But if anyone is abusing this forum to get in a private conversation, I will disallow requesting PM rps completely. ::blacklist:: no one yet. (I will never blacklist without a warning first.
