Actually, freedom of speech has limits, that's why there's rules against harassment and such. You have an opinion, but you don't have to state it.
And offending the hypersensitive should not be that limit.

Again, most furries do not do bestiality. I consider that animal abuse and most tend to agree. And as for weirder, that's pretty subjective. But how about scat? Or ballooners? I think both of those are weirder. Or what about anime's freakin' tentacle rape? Or the large amount of anime rape in general?
Scat is
as weird as furry. There's nothing wrong with
simulated rape.

Cartoons is artwork hun. They also read mangas, which is artwork. Art isn't only pencil and paper.
Cartoons
are artwork. The plural of manga is manga.
Now, the fact of the matter is that the interest in anime does not stem from the art style, for the most part; if it does, then one is not interested in anime, but rather the artwork of anime. An interest in anime usually entails interest in the concepts explored in a series, rather than what it looks like.

"The people who dress up in either fandom are losers, with the exception of cute Japanese cosplayers."
Wow, that's pretty mean.
So?
nightwolf714
"you are condoning such behaviour by being a part of the fandom."
So by being on an anime themed site, you are perfectly okay with the other anime aspects, such as tentacle rape, general rape, and other stuff that you find in the artwork?
As long as it's
animated, sure.

Yes, there is a difference between appreciation and addiction. Most in both subcultures appreciate, not are addicted.
Then why the hell are you trying to call people hentai addicts?

And back to freedom of speech. Again, it has limits. Look at the posting rules, "Flaming & trolling. Posts directed at another member which are hateful, abusive, or intentionally inflammatory are considered flaming. Making intentionally inflammatory or provocative posts to incite responses from other members is considered trolling."
If I had been trolling or flaming, I would have included an entire post consisting of misspelt expletives by now.

You can't just post anything. You don't have to like it, but if you don't like furries so much, why on earth on you in a furry thread, lasting your time posting?
I can post what is relevant to the topic of the thread. My disgust at furry behaviour is relevant. I haven't insulted anybody, so nobody should take direct offense to anything I've said. Also, you answered your own question. The reason I am in a thread about furries is that I don't like them.

Honestly, it's about as popular as anime porn.
