I'm not a furry but most of my friends are into that stuff one way or another. If you don't agree with their lifestyle, keep it to yourself because the indifferent don't want to hear it. Personally, I've heard it all.

To those who don't know, there are tons of fur cons. Each state, for the most part, has at least one fur con and England has a bunch.

I wish I could get to Anthrocon, but it's too far and in the middle of my school year. I'm waiting for FWA to come along, I think that's the next one that's close to me. Possibly RCFM, I don't think that one's happened yet anyways.

Mostly looking forward to FWA. I've been there a lot so I'm thinking it's a good place to start to actually sell some of my artwork. ^_^

Which is my main quarrel with it. How is it a lifestyle when all you do is watch some cartoons or read some comics? I'd rather not say I'm a furry until I have a fursona, RP'd on Furcadia, and slept in a puppy pile.

Mostly. Some call it a "lifestyle" because it takes a big part of their life. Either they sell artwork as a main source of money or something else in which furries are a majority of their lives. I guess the same could be said about anime. Anime isn't a lifestyle in most cases except for a small handful who make it their lives.

I don't personally enjoy drawing anthropomorphic characters, this is mainly because my artwork centralises around xenobiology; and I know it's unrealistic to draw their characteristics to close too humanity.

I never really got the idea of 'furries', I always assumed they were basically people with a fetish for human/animals hybrids, but I was quickly corrected on that. Now from what my knowledge is the 'community' is related to anthropomorphic artwork and other media concerning it. Which I can totally respect.

I came across some disturbing furry porn before. It was mainly Disney-related. I doubt I can ever watch one of their movies again without the images coming to mind.
