But then one can't blame them for taking things to far, well I mean of course one can blame them but what I meant is their actions are perfectly explainable, money and power clouded their minds, greed got the better of them. I guess that happens in various degrees to a lot of intelligent people.

It does; it is their acting stupidly despite their intellects.

They got carried away. That's all really, a little bit would have probably been a useful thing.

Seams there were money involved, always a great motive.

There's always money involved, it's to be expected.

We may not know the reasons for their actions, though I'm sure they did not think the plan entirely unnecessary, else they would not have seen the need for such a plan in the first place. If they did it with no understandable and rational reason at all one can assume they all had some sort of psychological problem. Which could be seen as a proof of their lack of intelligence. Though once again, they could have had reasons we do not know about, I'm not really a conspiracy theory type of guy, so I doubt they'd be able to hide anything.

I know what you said. I thought I'd advise you to follow your own advice before you advise others.

Don't bother me with petty comments. I'm trying to have an intellectually stimulating conversation with CH1YO. As the creator of my advise one can assume it naturally for me to follow it if needed, in this case it is not.

Einstein's refusal to wear socks or the Watergate scandal.

Usually there are reasons for such behaviors. I've heard that Einstein wore mixed pairs of socks, but even if he didn't wear them at all, in this case it boils down to eccentricity rather than a lack in intelligence. As for the Watergate scandal i'm not very familiar with it, though I do know it is a case of political corruption. If you would kindly share your views on this it would be helpful.

The Watergate scandal was essentially the conclusion of Nixon (a very clever man) surrounding himself with very clever people (as a president should). They devised an unnecessary plan which destroyed the political career of who was possibly the best president of the 20th century.

This is my temper speaking...

Tell me, how do you get rid of all emotions?
Happiness is temporary. It leads to agony, which leads to frustration and rage...
I feel like I need to kill someone right now!

Kill all males but me, and if you're a woman, mate with me, until babby is formed. That will make you 100% happy.

I see what your trying to say, but I can't say that I agree with everything, maybe if you would like to give an example.. I would think that you are correct when saying that intelligence can't be judged on virtue, as moral preferences has little to do with it, and even go as far as to say that one of the main "traits" of intelligence is to be straight forward and unconcerned.

One can do things that might appear foolish to others whilst being intelligent. Such as Einstein's refusal to wear socks or the Watergate scandal.

...Don't embarrass yourself.

That's what I said, are you getting tired? We can rest for a while if you want to get your own words straight first? I don't mind.
