The goal of this thread is to help those Final Fantasy Fans who want to earn gold via posting, and who want to earn their Elocutionist Achievement. (10,000 posts.) I'll post as many Final Fantasy-related questions as I can think of, and all you've got to do is answer each one in a separate post. Not only will your post count and gold count build as you do this, but you may also discover new friends who share similar interests as you.

Feel free to talk among yourselves in addition to answering the questions. Any post counts toward Elocutionist and gaining gold, so post, post, post away!!

If you'd like to submit more questions, please send them to me via PM (so I can check for repeats before adding them to the list.) I also apologize if there are any repeats... It's difficult to remember what all I've posted as I post more and more questions.

Mmm this is tricky. My top 3 so far for me have been IX, X, and XIII-2. Though most favorite....I'll go with IX. So much love when I played it.

2. Which Final Fantasy games have you played?
Played and finished: I (GBA), III (DS), IV (DS), VII, VII: Dirge of Cerberus, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XII, XII:Revenant Wings, XIII, and XIII-2
Currently playing (off and on): II (GBA), V (GBA), VI (GBA), and Tactic A2

3. Is there a FF game you haven't played but want to? If so, which one(s)?
IV: After Years and Crisis Core. After Years because IV was the first FF game I played and I like the characters, CC because Zack is adorkable and it looks fun (even though I already know the outcome of the ending :/ ).

4. Who is your favorite character?
Again, this is hard. I like a lot of the characters but currently...it's between Squall and Lightning.

5. Who is your least favorite character?
Either Edward (IV), Lucrecia (VII), or Alyssa (XIII-2).

6. Which is your least favorite FF game?
So far, FF I. I understand it was made back in the day of early gaming but since I started playing games when story and character personality was more explored/used, I got bored of the story. And I understand the that Warrior's of Light was the player themselves but I like characters with more to them. I give it slack though because I understand my dislike is biased on this due to growing up with different expectations in a game.

7. Which character can you best relate to?
Mmm, I can relate to different characters with different things but maybe...Squall in a really odd way? sweatdrop

11. Favorite villain/antagonist?
Kuja hands down.

12. Which game do you think had the best battle system?
I liked FF X and the ability to swap out characters during battle. I also did like the Paradigm Shifts from XIII. Though I don't know if I can call one system the "best". I liked the different changes that did for each that followed the more typical turn based combat that is thought of for Final Fantasy. It at least kept them from getting too samey each game.

13. Favorite theme song/musical piece from the games?
This is a tough one. There are so many songs from the games that I've enjoyed. They are overflowing with good music! To choose a couple:

I try to keep myself from crying but the ones I got close were the end of Final Fantasy X and XII-2.

Well this is another question that isn't easy....Squall (VIII) or Kain (IV). I could list plenty others but I won't.

IX. I only ever hear good things about it. Although I'm hesitant because I don't seem to take to the older FFs well.

Basch and Lightning. I don't think I can really choose between them..

6. Which is your least favourite FF game?
VII. If only because it's an older game and for numerous reasons I just don't enjoy the battle system (which for me is the deciding factor of whether a game is good or not).

9. What is the first Final Fantasy game you ever played?
X-2. Pretty much played through the entire thing until my friend bought X (X-2 was also her copy). But it wasn't until my sister and I bought our own PS2 that I really got to play X...

10. Favourite non-playable character?
Dr. Cidolfus

11. Favourite villain/antagonist?
Vayne. Seymour would be a close second. I think in general I enjoy antagonists that are polite and collected.

12. Which game do you think had the best battle system?
X-2. I think most of all I enjoyed the different outfits. I just loved the feeling of getting a new dressphere for the first time and just trying it on.

14. Has Final Fantasy ever made you cry?
Probably, at the end of CC, but... that's it. I feel like I would have cried at the end of XIII-2, but my mother was kinda shooing me out of the room at the time, so the mood wasn't right.

16. Favourite Final Fantasy couple?
Basch and Ashelia. Even if it... probably... won't ever happen...

17. Cutest character?
Frocobo?

18. Prettiest character?
Lightning. I loved her transition from XIII to XIII-2. Before she was quite tomboyish, then suddenly, 'let's make her more feminine'. I can't quite explain it. I guess I can compare it to a woman wearing sweats and no makeup. Doesn't mean she's ugly, but then she decides to dress up and then she just looks amazing.

I tend to find the weird ones more charming..

Hojo, I guess.

24. Most annoying character?
Tidus is just incredibly embarrassing to watch most of the time.

Aside from Lightning I don't really have any other female favourites.

aside from the males I already listed, Hope, Balthier, Gabranth, Cloud, Noel, Vaan... uhm... well there are a lot I don't feel like going down the list...

32. Do you prefer to use curing spells (cure, cura, curaga...) or curing items (potions, high potions, mega-potions...)?
Whatever works best in the situation. But potions and Hi-potions only work for so long. Everything else tends to be rare, and i'm an item hoarder, soo...

33. What's your favourite job class? (white mage, black mage, theif, dragoon, red mage, blue mage, and whatever else there is...)
According my adventures in Fire Emblem, I like fast types, mages, and characters with bows. Of course that's only for games with a battle system that takes advantage of what makes those types useful (as in, a long range/better evasiveness/higher speed). If it's a game like XIII or VII, class and weapons mean nothing to me. I just use what's most effective against the current enemy.

Hojo (VII), though maybe more creepy for him.

There are plenty of them but maybe my top two, Cecil (IV) and Serah (XIII).

Maybe Hojo again? Though again, unethical is probably the best word here. Idk, kind of hard to think of someone for this one. Not saying there aren't mean characters it just in many cases, "mean" clashes with "evil" and I just consider the word "evil" more.

24. Most annoying character?
Funnily enough, even though she is apart of one of my favorite couples I could not stand Rinoa by herself. She constantly runs after Squall when he tells her to stay put getting her into trouble more than once that the player has to get her out of. I understand it's because she wants to be with him but as it got towards the end of the game and I was beginning to realize how poorly prepared I was. And Rinoa getting me into boss battles did not help my mood. She's also a bit...stupid. Some cases I can take stupid characters, they can even be endearing if written right. But in her case she just reminded me of a protagonist of a shoujo and shoujo main chick's drive me crazy because....stopping before I start ranting (I feel bad about this being so long).

Either Noel (XIII-2), Cecil (IV), Balthier (XII), or Squall (VIII).

Quina (since I can't tell if it's male or female)

I liked a lot of the games from the fat chocobo in IV for the DS and the snowboarding from VII.

Either Blitz Ball or the card game from IX.

Poison. Can still causes damage even when you need to take a turn to heal instead of attack.

I prefer to using curing spells. I'm always happy when I get the next level of a cure spell.

Lol none of them. I like learning about these characters as I play the game but I sure wouldn't want to be any of them.

There are plenty of time's characters have made me laugh in the games but as for ones that made me do it a lot...Gau (VI), Laguna (VIII), Steiner (IX), or Sazh (XIII).

Again, there are lots of these, some of them are Cid's or are the villains (smart but crazy). Actually going to say Caius. Yes he can look through time and figure things out but idk, even then he's able to play everyone along how he wants.

38. Best dressed character?
Balthier, he is the leading man after all.

39. If you could live in the world of any FF game, which would it be, and what part of that world would you choose to live in?
Gaia from FF IX and I'd probably live in Lindblum

The version of Carbuncle from VIII because it's just so cute and the version for Odin from XIII because the transforming thing is pretty cool.

Prequel for X featuring Jecht, Auron, Braska

Even despite the cheesiness of X-2 I can't say that I'd actually wish it had never been made. So to answer, there aren't any I would rather not have seen.

If this is before Caius gets vengeful about Yeul's constant death, then fine. I would have a ranged (Vincent), a good healer (Hope), and a good melee (Caius). If it was after Caius decided to destroy time and the goddess, screwed.

I always enjoy the chocobos or moogles. However, I especially love the ozmone hare from XII. They are so cute! whee Whenever I end up finding them I take the character I'm using, stand them next to the hare, and just stare at them and squee like an idiot as they wiggle their tails and make their cute little noises for a minute or two. Believe me, I did this a couple times.
Nutkins from V are funny just because of how derpy they look.

Oh dear, lets see if I can do this:
IX, X, XIII-2, XII, XIII, IV, VIII, VII, X-2, XII: Revenant Wings, DoC, III, I
Though honestly I can say that really the only ones that have severe periods of disinterest were III and I. I can tell you right now that many of these games are very much on the same level to me it's just, with making a list, that doesn't appear to be the case. I enjoyed each of them for different reasons.

62. Who do you think is the bravest character out of all the games?
I'll list three.
Yuna from FF X. She has accepted the fate that at the end of her pilgrimage, she is going to die to give only a temporary peace to Spira. But she feels it is worth it. She decides on her own to become a summoner and undertake this even though she knows what will happen in the end. Obviously this changes by the end but it still takes strength for someone to face their own death.
A lot of people may not like him but Hope (XIII). He learns to suck it up and try take his unfortunate fate into his own hands and not let it guide him.
And Serah, from XIII-2. When Serah finds out that changing time will cause her to have more visions and bring her closer to death, she still goes forward despite the consequences.

FFXIV is the only main series game I haven't played, so yes, that one. I also would like to play more of FFXI as I haven't yet satisfied my goals for it yet.
