well technically if we're going off of the belief that we share an ancestry w/ apes, then yes, we are part ape..its like if u have a cousin. part of u is just like them, though u are not them.
to be honest the idea of creationism, intelligent design, and the like simply don't make sense to me. my mother was catholic, my father was buddhist, my grandma was christian.. again those religions just dont make sense to me. im not sure what i am, but i can't fathom the idea that some higher being controls our lives and everything that we do affects us in the after life or where we go to spend eternity...i mean, i suppose there could be a higher being watching over us, but i doubt it.
science seems to answer most questions and fill in the blanks that religion has cast, or simply punched holes in faith's answers and created more questions..i'm not exactly sure which, but the theory of evolution seems more plausible because there's proof and its been tested..the idea of walking on water and paying money to the church to resolve your sends just doesnt set well w/ me.
