Well evolution has been pretty much proven and creationism is impossible because two people cant just appear and make babies, eve would've died and we would all be brothers and sisters soooo... you do the math

Uhm, the way we're constructing the term, a Creationist is a person who believes that all life forms were created roughly six thousand years ago in exactly the forms they are in now. Except for the currently-extinct ones, which were alive back then.

So I don't see how a Creationist could possibly accept as valid any findings or theories of evolutionary biology, as the entirety of evo bio contradicts Creationist dogma in its entirety.

So basically, you're saying that the only definition for Creationist you will even consider is that of young-Earth God-just-made-everything-dur retards, and anyone who believes anything that differs even slightly from that is something not Creationist? Convenient for you, very nice.

Btw, they can still believe in natural selection.

If you believe that God created the world some n billion years ago, and that things have changed since then (under divine guidance or otherwise), you're not a creationist, you're someone who observes the world around him and may or may not happen to believe that there was a Divine hand driving it forward.

The term "Creationist" is invoked generally in opposition to astronomical, geological and biological evidence about the age of the universe, the planet and biological species, respectively. I have never heard a single person who believes as you do ever object to such findings. In fact, I would say that to express interest in finding out how the natural world as it is now came to be is inherently to reject Creationism.

They start being "Creationist" in your sense when they say: "but I don't believe HUMANS evolved from monkeys!" The die-hard Young Earth Creationists might be dwindling in number a bit, but then you have a lot of the "Intelligent Design"-like Creationists who draw some kind of imaginary line across which science and the natural world just aren't allowed.

Okay, so: revising my definition.

If you claim that divine influence is necessary to explain the world, and invoke things like irreducible complexity, gaps in the fossil record, etc. to bolster your claim, you're a Creationist, which is to say, either insufficiently educated in the sciences (not too hard to remedy, btw, if you have a good library nearby) or dishonest.

I'm a Deist, you know, I can think of no better term for the phenomena that led to the world we know and the rules that govern them than "God". But I can't deny the evidence that those phenomena did, in fact, lead to the world we now live in.

Actually, the ark was said to be 300 cubits - which would be about 137 meters. England's length is estimated at 620 thousand meters, so you are wrong by a factor of about 4520. As for the height, 7x the height of the Empire State Building is 2667 meters: you are wrong here by a factor of about 194.

Noah's ark has problems - but being 1.65 miles tall and capable of being stretched from Chicago to Albuquerque is not one of them.
