i dont think this thread is even worth it, i mean its a topic that scientists still cant figure out and are arguing about it because there is not enough evidence on either side..
You will find that this is untrue. Scientists overwhelmingly support the theory of evolution because the evidence is undeniable and compelling.
As of the last poll 98.7 persent of people working in the scientific field believe in evolution.

That's not really the issue. Someone might consider such a statement biased.
The real issue is that almost half of the U.S. population doesn't know much if anything about evolution.
I know from personal experimentation that evolution is true but I would have a hard time convincing the some 20-30% of the population that doesn't believe what is in front of their nose is proof or even evidence. I think it is rather sad that this is really a result of overly zealous fundamentalism and lack of eduction.
Time magazine ran an article not just within the past five years or so declaring the U.S. drop out nation.
It's really ironic that something empirical in nature has become a topic of religious debate. I would say arguing about evolution existing is like arguing if water exists for example.
