Then why haven't humans evolved yet?

We have.

Some of us, anyway.

Quite so. It is clearly evidenced in the case of those who are well-bred, and moneyed. *monocle*

Well, then I guess we have clear evidence of evolution, or at least de-evolution. Any more rebuttals?

Aside from the fact that devolution is widely known to be a fallacy?

Course not. I'm just here for the show.

Fair enough. I fixed it. Why did this take over 300 pages?

because though inteligent design has had numerous stakes driven through it's falsifying heart, it is akin to the cinematic undead that keeps resurrecting itself, staggering zombie-like and covered with flies back into public light and the threads here. You may kill it a thousand times but never shall it admit it is defeated.

that may be why....

heehee. Zombies. Nicely worded.

Suprisingly, I too recommend people check out the ICR website. It's full of bold claims and assumption-based evidence. The section where it tries to show that the bible is the best text in all of history is certainly a bold assertion. It has at least some educational value, and if you filter out anything that has to do with religion you might learn something useful. They also have a certificate program you can take. Looks more like bible camp than an educational course (I doubt anyone would accept it as a prerequisite), but whatever.

I believe in God, but I'm not so strict about it.
I do not believe that the bible is word, end of story.
Science has proved that we evolved from some kind of ape,
which I forget how to spell. It's pronounced like;
"homo-sayp-ians"
I believe that God made the earth,
then put the first life form on.
Whether it was "Adam and Eve", or just a tiny speck of an organism.
Then, that evolved into something, then to something, then to something,
and on and on and on.
Then somehow, humans came along from those "homo-sayp-ians".
But then again, the universe is a big place.
There's endless possibilities.
Nothing is really right I guess.
I suppose we'll never know who's right and whose wrong.

Why is it that random people always have better views than people who incessantly follow threads to argue their point?

Also: in an attempt to sort of stay on topic; juicy, juicy transcripts.

I think this one has died down. Or at least stopped evolving.

Huh, I'm surprised I'm on the first page. I thought this was one of those threads where I wasn't online at the time and only jumped in on page 12 or something.
I think I blocked the entire first page from my memory as a defense mechanism.
Has it really been more than two and a half years?

I mean, here in M&R we have kind of a schizophrenia on the subject. We either have 'My faith tells me homos r bad' or we have Eteponge.
