ive seen alot of monkeys. ive never seen any of them turn in to men.

That's because we didn't evolve from monkies, but a common ancestor.

Evolution is fact. I don't believe in it, believe implies faith. I know it's true.

If evolution is fact (which i believe it is not) then where did the micro bacteria come from? where did the clumps of dirt and rock come from that formed the planets?

Micro bacteria would have formed from even simpler bacteria.

Inanimate objects (such as dirt and rocks) are not a part of evolution, abiogenisis, or any related scientific theories.

Who know where it all came from. It could have been from a god or goddess for all we know. Where it came from doesn't matter.

Evolution is a fact. Sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting "NO IT ISN'T!" and stamping your feet doesn't make it any less real.

And what does the forming of planets have to do with evolution?

Not everything evolved from bacteria. Only bacteria evolved from bacteria. You should have listened when you wnet to school.

Micro bacteria would have formed from even simpler bacteria.

And eventually, even simpler micro-organisms, which would come from even simpler amalgams of molecules, which would come from simple self replicating molecules.

Just expanding.

Which is good. I didn't expand it further than what I did because she probably left and might never return. And, even if she does, she may not read that far anyways......she may be inable to read more than ten words! blaugh

Surprise, surprise, another person who does not believe in Evolution, but does not know that evolution does not talk about how life began or how the Earth was formed. Read the thread a little more, and maybe learn something.

Not everything evolved from bacteria. Only bacteria evolved from bacteria.

While the first sentence is undoubtedly true, I would point out that some viruses are said to be descended from bacteria (while others are supposed to have appeared in the, errr, "primordial soup".).
Just like some single-celled animals (myxozoa) came (it seems) from multicellular, bilateral organisms. A U turn is always possible.

Well, she would have returned with "where did those simpler bacteria come from?", so I'm doing some prevention.

Ah, yes. But that just means that we won't get to see and refute her other mindless atrocities!

Where is your mind?

Mind is not a physical objecy, it is a concept of the self, it does not have a location as such, it is the impression of the brain's own existance.
Thankyou therefore cannot reate somthing not made of matter.

Translate this please someone.
I think what he means is:
Mind is not matter, The Big Bang Theory states that it created all "matter", but since the mind isn't matter it couldn't be created by the Big Bang so how do we have a mind.

((That's kind of what I think of when I here mind over matter, but I know that's not what it applies to))

But the mind would be "created" by the brain. It's pretty much a concept rather than something material. Just like instincts. They're not matter, but I think everyone can agree that they exist and are created by the brain (Actually, wouldn't they be part of the mind?)
The mind is somewhat defined as any instinct like emotion and such. But the 10% of our brain that we use doesn't specify our minds so wouldn't that have to come from somewhere else? confused

We do not just use ten percent of our brains. That is a myth which has been repeated for so long that people believe it, but there is absolutely no evidence backing it up.

Haha, sage'd!
This thread is still here? I had hoped at least a thread with a properly spelled title would have replaced it.

*sigh*
Notice that most of the longer threads are misspelled. SRSLY.

That is actualy the TPM theory of thraed longevity.

I doubt that means anything to anyone here, but it was floated a few days back on another forum, and does seem to hold true. A thread with a misspelled word in the title attracts more attention, particularly from those experienced in the area that title deals with.
