What do you mean? The last time i heard that we had witnessed evolution was when the Victorian english stated the Aborigines as still evolving?

we have profe and in some intances witnessed evolution first hand. denying that proof is not wise in my opinion.

we have a lot, we have seen viruses, bacteria, and single celled organisms evolve. we have acualy watched them evolve. also we have the fossile record and new links aprearing evceryday as well as new species once in a great while. there is literaly mountains of proof.

the funny thing is that Darwin, supposedly being smart, mentioned that the change between bird and fish were flying fish........Sounds a little out there if you ask me

The Origin of Species

Though I was under the impression that he meant the flying fish were a species in transition from living in water 100% of the time, to living in the air. A species evolving towards proper flight.

Laka wrote: No he didn't. He used the example of the flying fish as a case where an animal exhibits what could be a primitive form of certain features in the process of adapting to a lifestyle different than that of other fishes, i.e. flying through the air. It was an hypothetical example and a thought experiment on the nature of transitional forms, homologous structures, and modification of body parts for functions they did not originally possess which, over long periods of time, could take on "high degrees of perfection" in their role. Thus he imagined that if flying fish had continued to develope better flying fins, that one day they might have concievably reached a point where they were very well-adapted for living out of the water and catching food on the wing as birds are. Thus, in this imaginary example, who could ever concieve that such a well-suited structure as the imaginary flying creature's wing could have at one time been the fin of a fish, used to locomote in water only?

On page 94 and 95 just to say the least are some good links on either transitional creatures or what has been said.

No worries, but for future reference, just read at least the last four or five pages, plus the first one.

If you think you evolved from an ape, you'll act like an ape!
And a caveman is just a man who lived in a cave....it is a theory, evolution...I mean, when scientist recreated early earth, they found the amino acids needed for life, but they found no other evidence of living things.....

I believe in the Bible. It is the "manuel" for life. I have faith that this is true, the Bible is my evidence. I just feel that this is what is right.

So go and act like dust then, since that's where you believe you come from.

Adam was created from dust. God then took out a rib from Adam and created woman!

Get the facts straight!

Facts? You mean the literal genesis story?

Which one?

The one where eve was made from the rib of adam after adam got lonely.

Or there one where they were made at the same time?
