Evolution is a fact.

Oh yeah, you need a heretic option in the poll, I had to result to describing myself as a pagan instead, and I'm not a pagan. I am an all around heretic.

Well we keep thying to get the OP to remove the atheist option, seeing as how its not a religion.
When was the last time the OP responded to a single thing in this thread? Give it up already.
Just voicing an opinion Vryko. I know full well the OP has abandoned the thread.

I get what you are saying but I said earlier is that of course God would have had to created it later. All animals ate plants (and Adam and Eve), once sin came they were allowed to eat meat, so it would make sense for God to put in that system AFTER SIN.

Three big problems with that theory:

1. It's not true.

2. It has nothing to do with evolution.

3. It's definitely not true.

Unless you have proof against it I refuse to believe and yes it does because the system wouldn't have needed to be put in until later. God can do anything you know.

Okay, how about meat eaters have an entire digestive system adapted to digesting meat and not plant matter. Razor sharp teeth for slicing flesh (as opposed to grinding) and a short digestive tract so that animal matter doesnt cause cysting or clogging. Plant eaters have flat teeth na dlong digestive tracts with special enzymes used to break down cellulose (fiber). Meat eaters dont have this.

Heh, Lets all get this straight .. Anyone who has been a christain ever since they where born are for the most part closed minded about this theory. Basicly your brainwashed if you have been raised as a christian or another religion. I believe Evolution is a fact whether or not Darwin's theorys had holes in them. I mean did anyone execpt him to get it right on the mark?
Eh, if anyone trys to say everything in the bible is a fact , their theory has an astounding number of holes in it. More than the theory of evolution If I do say so myself. I mean if you believe in intellingent design you should be trying to disprove Stephen Hawkings theorys too. Look them up and start to read, they aren't in the Bible. xp

So... were you brainwashed to make stupid generalizations?
Oddly enough I never did agree with that macro, and to this day I still find its use horribly unoriginal and annoying.
Of course evolution is real! there's physical evidence that we evolved from hominids! there are different skeletons that have been found that are different ages in different stages of evolution! i don't see how ppl can think otherwise. i mean i do believe in god and that everything that happens is meant to but i do not believe that i(a chick) was created by some1's rib!

ps:my english teacher(who hasn't fully evolved in my opinion) is living proof!
I think a little more research needs to be done.....I'm not an expert myself, but I will relay what I do know.

First of all, as a Christian, I fully believe that the Earth was created in six days, and that there is a God and He loves us all. That aside...

Actually, the physical evidence that we evolved is rather weak. Now, there is also not a lot of evidence that supports creation, which means that we will never actually know the truth until we die. If we end up in heaven....oops, I guess we were created. If nothing happens, well, I won't know the difference. I'll be dead.

Much of this evidence that has been found just doesn't fit a lot of the principals and theories. There was an instance of an ancient human finger that was found. It was found at the Commanche Peak, not far from the Paluxy riverbed, in cretaceous gravels. An amazing find, yes. However, there is a slight problem. What were humans doing in the cretaceous period? It just doesn't make sense. Many of these rocks formed in the different ages don't line up. Things are being found in all the wrong places (whale fossils on mountain tops) and in the wrong time periods.

Of course, this is one example of many. Again, I'm not a scholar, I just happen to be slightly passionate and I've been to a few seminars...

But again, it is something that will never be resolved, as long as humanity exists.

Really? What leads you to this ridiculous assumption?

And what do you have to say about collections of evidence such as this?

Source?
My ridiculous assumption has come from years of sitting through educatied seminars, and examining the evidence myself. The source is an article that I received at one of these, among a series of them, presented by Ian Juby, Ian Taylor, Laurence Tisdall, Jonathon Cacun, all partners and paricipants in creating and aiding in the running of Canada's largest travelling creation museum.
