When you think about whether evolution is true or not, religion doesn't even have to come into it at all. Whether God exists or not does not alter the fact that, once you understand the idea of evolution, you realise that it does take place. It's simple. If there is a population with variations which randomly mutates and in which some variations are beneficial to survival and others are not, evolution will occur.

Take a look around you, at the world! Miracles happen everyday, everything is happening because God lets it. He does more than our feeble Human minds could ever comprehend.

To answer the question, yes I believe in creationism...although some points in evolution do make since. I'm completely open minded too both. Some things in evolution I DO NOT agree with, while others do seem logical.

I definitely agree with u how can u ppl say god does nothing if you've never asked him to do anything??? And don't try stupid things like god i wish this or that (little trivial stuff>>even though sometimes he answers those too smile ) but try talkin to Him about serious things!!!!! He's there he'll answer u and trust me God loves everyone of us aqnd the Bible (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth!!!!) is exactly wat it is it's basic it doesn't highlight every insy winsy detail like how often Jesus took showers and stuff so don't expect to see irrelevant stuff in it plus since man evolved who created the monkeys?? The way i see it... Evolution is a theory, the story of God creating the world is a story.

The bible is old and the people who wrote it lacked understanding... It says that God created the world in 7 days... this is plainly wrong.

But i don't see why God couldn't have sparked the evolution process, perhaps used his God like powers to stear it the way he went etc.

If you actually understood the biology and evidence behind evolution you would realize that denying evolution is on the same lines as saying the earth is flat . Even those who are religious that persue a career as a biologist or paleontologist almost always discover that in order to be honest with themselves that they need to adopt some form of theistic evolution .

I used to believe that Humans evolved from Apes. That all life came from single celled Organisms called Amoebas.
Now I believe that god created us all, and the bible is fact.

Evolution is truth because there is physical evidence to back it up. There is no evidence to prove that there is a God though.

Also, if that evidence of evolution was just put there to 'test our belief' in Christianity, then God's a d**k.

A shining light of humanity in our dark world. wink well, seriously, I dont think religion is a mechanism for disproving evolution, because they both operate off different fact sets. criteria for religion are different than the criteria for evolution, and are evaluated differently. if you are religious, great, but take a look at proof for evolution in context for that; they are not mutually exclusive. if you are not religious, or do think evolution is true, good for you, but make sure you do because of an understanding of everything it is made up of, and not a cursory examination.
