Welcome to Gaia! ::

At my school you have to bring a clear backpack if you want to use a backpack.
We had a rule in my old high school that girls weren't allowed to wear thongs. I'm sorry, but no one is going to tell me what kind of underwear to wear!
My school is pretty lenient...
the funniest one is "No Smooching"
It literally says that.

Back in Junior High...
Students cannot wear shirts under their uniform shirt.
Jackets of any sort are not allowed to be worn with the uniform.

Those are cruel rules especially when it's winter season, or raining.
The school I was to attend after third grade had one oddly specific rule.

"Boys cannot kick girls."

It always stuck out to me as odd. rolleyes
My old high school also had the "No Hat" rule. If somebody was found with a hat on, they would be taken away, and to be go to the Dean's office after school to pick it up. IN my sophomore year though, my contemporary world issues class were discussing unfair rules around the world, and unfair rules in our life, and somebody brought up the no hat rule. So we ended up planning a day where we'd pitch in, and buy a bunch of party hats and separate into checkpoints around the school on ways students would come in, and hand them out. Students were told to write their names on the hat, put them on, and get them taken away, and go back after school to pick up their hat. It was to show how stupid and pointless the rule was, and if the rule was really effective, then it wouldn't be annoying to the school staff if the rule was enforced 100% of the time. While, our goal failed (Rule still stayed implemented sad ) it was pretty cool to have the entire school in on one goal.
I had a professor whom did not permit us to ask questions during exams, if we had a question we were supposed to write it on the exam and she would give us partial credit.

This woman also thought the adrenal glands were in the brain.

-If you don't dress out for gym, you get a before school detention

This seems reasonable to me.

Gym is a class. Classes have requirements in order to participate. If you don't dress for gym, you cab't participate. If you know the rules, and choose to not dress, that means you're choosing not to participate. Not a far cry from sleeping in class.
Ugh. Last year, we could always have snack during school. Now they won't allow it unless it's in the lunchroom. This sucked for me because I didn't have breakfast for the first mornings before school because I felt sick, so then I had to starve waiting for lunch at 1...
I had a friend who got in trouble for wearing fake plastic chains. :/

....jarrods law stressed
we have to carry this big book, signed by our teacher, to go to the bathroom.
oh, and in my one class, if theirs a fire we cant use the door that leads outside. we have to walk down 3 hallways to get to the same exact freaking spot!!!!!!!! scream

Get the teacher to sign in pencil and write your name in pencil so you ca reuse the same spot over again.

We had books like that too. No one ever checked them sometimes our teachers were just like carry it just in case to make it look like you got it signed.

-"Chains on pants are not part of a healthly learning enviroment."

-"spongebob shoe laces have been determined to be gang related and therefore not permitted" LOL seriously ******** fruity gangs up here in Canada.

Why not the rule be no visible underwear. So if you can see the thong or boxers pull it up or go home .
