Welcome to Gaia! ::

Oh yeah, no touching either! It's not fair! I can't even have people sit in my lap! Which is essential around Christmas time because I like to dress up like Santa Claus and ask people what they want for Christmas (i'm actually not kidding there)
My school's policy is rather slack.
The dress code follows this: If it's a definite distraction to the learning environment, then you can't wear it. Yes, you could dye your hair purple and get away with it.
Electronic devices are kind of a no-no. But some teachers let students use them during specific occasions.

However, the retarded thing I noticed was, No sending incendiary devices through the school network. Jeeze, what moron came up with that rule?

Like I was trying to draw the catipillar from Alice in Wonderland smoking a hookah (sp?) like he is in "Alice's Adventure's Underground" and I got in trouble! scream

That's retarded! OMG I'd get out of that school FAST! They ruin art! 0_0

I'm glad it wasn't like that at mine.

I had a perfect mark for a dead baby coming out of a man's body once. It was extremely gore and full of nudity and body fluids, but I guess it was well painted...
-No, hugging, holding hands of any sort.(Even with frends.)
-If you don't dress out for gym, you get a before school detention
-No chains (even really small ones)

Thank god book bags are alowed this year. I'd die without it. D:
A couple of the schools only allow transparent backpacks so they can see what's in them.

You aren't allowed to leave the classroom for any reason during 5th and 7th periods. If you do have to leave for something, they have to call one of the security guards to escort you where you have to go. 5th period is lunch so the assume that if you're leaving class, you're going to go hang out at the cafeteria. 7th is the end of the day so they think you're going to leave. My 5th period, if we aren't doing anything, we just walk out.
in my school boys can get suspended if their pants are to low and you can see their boxers and or butt crack, you also cannot listen to music at anytime, even when school is not going on, like when your waiting for the buses, and you cant were your hood up if you have a hoodie, trying to prevent gang violence my a**, we have no "gangs" in my ******** town! stupidity is all it is
At my old high school . . .
No Red or Blue shoelaces [I know why it's a rule, but I asked the woman in the discipline office once if someone like me would even get in trouble for it and she said no . . . which I think just makes them racist. xd ]
Girls can wear trench coats, but not Guys. [I could understand NO trench coats, but not the double standard.]
We had a school news program and in one episode, one person jokingly hit another with a rolled up paper, and the teacher cut it.
Most of the bathrooms got locked at Lunch and Break. You know, the time when people actually use them. Only three, all practically next to eachother, remained unlocked.

My school was pretty great though . . . Because I was in the school news program and the admins knew it, I could walk around the halls without a pass, especially if I was just holding a camera. We went to the Grocery Store during class. It was so easy to ditch.

Edit: Ugh, this one was really stupid. My friend took out her cell phone after school, 5 steps away from the door, and the metal shop teacher told her no phones in school. Literally, by the time he got through saying it, we had already opened the damn door.
Not allowed to post videos or pictures on myspace or youtube unless it's school appropiate,if you do your parents get called,i dont see why,it doesn't effect the school and its not done on school propety
no tank tops cos shoulders are just so damn arousing scream I mean damn its hot out, yet cos its totally your shoulders that each and ever teenage boy/girl (cos dudes can't wear it either) is dreaming about
elementary school: no gum. potty breaks are for lunch/beginning of the day/end of the day

middle school:no gum, no shirts(unless they're longer then the knees), no tanks, no holes in jeans, hair shorter then ears(for guys), hair in a pony tail or bun(girls)

high school: no alcohol. no shaggy jeans(hole are allowed near the knees only). cell phones are a no no(unless you want it taken away). bandannas are a bad idea. no spiky bracelets that could casue harm to other students.

there's more for each school, but i'm too lazy to find out what they are. (for all schools, no hugging/hand holding. )
at our school, guys can wear necklaces but only if they aren't visible mad

In my old school we wore School Uniforms, then again, the vast majority of British Schools do.
The very thing you strive for ...

That's not really a dumb school rule though.
I valued my school uniform. It saved me the vast amounts of cash it'd have to spend on new clothes every 6 months. The "wear your uniform with pride" was what got to me.

In Kenmare they're not allowed dye their hair at all. We were 'technically' not allowed wear jewellery, except for a watch, but most people did anyway.
No MP3's, no mobile phones, the usual.
No chewing-gum, no Tipp-Ex.
Black shoes only, no runners or flip flops. I'd have loved to wear flip flops to school. U_U

... is the thing that makes you blind
I'm starting to doubt my school has rules at all.
We've got girls walking around in next to nothing, and
kids are rolling joints and snorting OxyContin during class.
But god help you if you're a second late to class.
:/
