Ive looked through pages of music threads and i havent found one containing the subject of punk music. im in love with punk and i want it to spread like wildfire but lately i just see a bunch of number one radio hits and a lot of hip hop which i could hardly care less about. im wondering if there are some real punks on here that actually like bands like the wonderyears, johnny hobo and the freight trains, alkaline trio, jawbreaker, or black flag. if you actually do then go ahead and post a bunch of bands you like, id love to know. if you like to rant on how being punk is amazing and changes your life then go ahead because i believe you. thinking of getting a mohawk soon.

I have two songs from Ramones and one from Patti Smith.

I have songs by The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, Dropkick Murphys, The Explosion, The F-Ups, Franz Ferdinand who are probably not true punk.

There are WAY to many classifications of punk anymore. New Age Punk, Classic Punk, Post Punk, Ska Punk, graaaaaa. I like all of it though!

I'm really bad at genres, but there's a few bands I like that could possibly be considered punk.

The Ramones, The Offspring, The Used, A Day to Remember, Rise Against, etc.
