Honestly, I've never cared much for it, but I don't dislike it either. I prefer biology and chemistry, but rocks can be cool too. Fortunately when I studied it (a billion years ago...) I had a lot of friends with me, and we would make fun of stuff and do experiments together. Like I said, neither great nor terrible...

Yeah anything you study can be more fun if you're studying with some friends and get to actually experience what you're learning.

... on a more serious note, it was one of my favorite classes ever, and really easy, yet hard enough that I enjoyed doing the work.
