Um... I think dominance is only a concept we have created for ourselves. Sure, there have been some very negative effects, there have also have been efforts to improve, or at least fix the environment, and habitats. For instance, I've heard about actions to control, or relocate deer populations. Some are not even painful. But what I really think we should be doing is controlling more of the birth rate of the human population.

I don't say find it emo to say that humans are bad because the reason I'm saying it is so hopefully I can find some discussion on how to improve or how others believe that damage can be negated or actions can be justified. True enough, I agree with almost all of this except that in groups individuals tend to become marginalized and the larger a group the less effectively ideas and knowledge are conveyed. Small groups work best as each person has say and thoughts are allowed to flow freely. In large numbers people tend to lose strength and there is a break down in communication one of the reasons there are hierarchies in organizations is to help ideas move through a system with as little loss as possible. So again I guess you make a pretty sound statement.
