Generally when people think "spirituality" they think of the supernatural and such. It pleases me to see scientists who reach out to people on an emotional level; a side of spirituality many more of us can agree on.


After learning some of the metaphysical connotations that come along with trying to understand quantum physics, this sense of spirituality has grown in me. We truly are connected to each other, our surroundings, and even to reality itself. We are a naturally occurring pattern in the universe. The universe itself is a naturally occurring pattern in a greater multiverse; an infinite expanse where probability and reality intertwine.

Exactly. As far as I'm concerned, spirituality deals more with that emotional connection to the universe, and the wonder and mystery and awe of it all, than anything to do with actual spirits.
