i have to get surgery soon
it's all i can think about and it's making me so nervous
everyone says i'm silly to feel so scared about it
since it's supposed to make me feel better
but really it scares the s**t out of me
what if there are complications?
who's going to be there when i wake up?

and the worst part is the stress of having to take 4-5 weeks off of work
and not have any money to pay my bills

Ooh so tonight was interesting.
I was sitting in the back of the restaurant upstairs with Adam eating dinner and in the corner booth behind us there was this couple sitting there. Needless to say, they were a little overly handsy. (Meanwhile we're sitting there talking about periods... xD)
Anyway, he didn't really pay much attention to them since his back was to them and we were just talking about other stuff and trying to get the attention of our friend working downstairs. This is somewhat relevant.

A little while later, I was back at my counter and I noticed them leaving. I also noticed the woman had a backpack, which is a no-no - bags have to be checked with the girls in guest services. I was already keeping an eye on them - which was smart because I then saw them heading into the woman's washroom together.
Seeing how the woman sure as hell didn't look disabled or drunk and was perfectly capable of doing her business without assistance, I called security to let them know.
Ben, my partner in crime, came up to check things out. I told him what was going on and he just got this big s**t eating grin on his face. He loves this kind of thing - hell, anything that breaks up the monotony a little.

So yeah. He knocks on the door and is standing there for a minute or two, probably talking to them. Eventually the guy pokes his head out a little, and Ben gets him to step out. They talk for a few minutes, then the guy leaves. Finally the girl comes out looking embarrassed as hell.
You can imagine that this whole time I'm watching from afar and trying not to laugh my a** off or make it look like I'm obviously watching.
Didn't work too well though as I found out later from Ben. As he was looking through her backpack making sure there was nothing sketchy in there, he said he could hear me and the girls snickering away.

He and a couple of the other guys in security and surveillance gave me praise for catching it, so that was an added bonus.
