Funny, when my mother was mine and my sister's age she also had blue hair.
She said that she probably would have gone for purple but it wasn't really available back in the day.
Apparently purple's her favourite colour.
I never even knew that.

I joked to her that I'd make purple a natural hair colour.
I'm opting for black/deep purple/ultraviolet this time round.
Hopefully it's acceptable for this placement I've got starting on Monday.
I don't even know which position I want to tell them I'm interested in.

Best friend doesn't like purple.
She's always complimentary, though; I can't remember whether she preferred the darker shade or the lighter one.
I contacted her about a month ago; we have roughly hewn plans to see the Avengers movie after her exams.
And Iona invited me to a live performance by a band her friend is in.
I guess I'll give them a listen, but I'm still not sure if I want to go.
