i have that same problem all the good high priced items that i have are all gifts from someone and i just can't bring myself to give them up for a few of the items that dont really have a high price on them

Exactly. But I love all the gifts I have gotten. Because I'd start to quest them, and then a friend would just buy it for me. So I'd give them the gold that I had, and then quest something new.
