Shrouded in a thick red mist in the depths of Purgatory looms the skeleton of a mansion within which a club can be found. No sign of the subway station that once stood in its place remain and the story of how it came to be is a mystery to all but the one responsible for placing it there. The grounds are littered with wizened trees and skeletons and a deep, dark pool of water, lies before the establishment, the skull of a fallen demon taking pride of place at its centre, a warning to those who wish the club or its inhabitants harm.
The entrance of the club is guarded by two large beasts, ready to deal with any unwelcome visitors and leads directly to the dancefloor which flashes black and red, throwing light on all the surrounding furniture and demonstrating the theme that runs throughout the building. On either side there are sofas for people to sit and enjoy the energetic vibe of the club. A collection of candles line the walls, adding a warm glow to the room. At the rear of this floor is a bar, the shelves sparkle with bottles of all shapes and sizes, some from the mortal world, others from unknown realms. A small door on the side is a doorway to Lucifer's office in Hell which only he and a select few can pass through.
A little removed from the activity of the lower floor, the upper portion of the club of the club offers a more relaxed, intimate setting. Ruby-red rose petals cascade from the ceiling to litter the ground and their sweet aroma fills the air. There are a number of booths with plush seats for people to get to know one another better without all the noise that would otherwise make conversation difficult. In one corner a glowing moon floats, inviting people to lay down either alone or in the arms of a loved one.
Very few individuals are capable of entering the door in the club but those that do instantly find themselves in Lucifer's office in Hell, a place decorated much in keeping with that of the club, but with some noticeable differences. Thick velvet drapery encases every window and the lights are much lower than in the club. A large desk with a mini bar attached stands pride of place in the middle of the room, in the past the entire desk and the surrounding area would have been covered in papers but following events in the club the workload that finds itself here has vastly decreased. A chaise longue sits up a small flight of stairs alongside a king-sized bed, covered in scatter cushions with black satin sheets in case he ever needs to sleep. Up another flight of stairs on the other side of the room is a hot tub for Lucifer to relax in away from the noise of the club.
History of Lucifer and Asylum A short description for those curious about Lucifer or Asylum
After falling from Heaven Lucifer found himself in Purgatory, still blond and blue-eyed as he had been in heaven, his seraphic aura still bright. It wasn't long until he was found and brought forth to Purge who was Purgatory's queen and first of the leviathan. Here he spent centuries as Purge's favorite pet, enduring her cruel and perverse treatment until his powers of fallen grew, hair turning red and his eyes to glowing embers, reflecting the new heat of his aura. He was still known as the Morningstar burning bright from within. Fearing his growing powers, Purge created Hell and gave him rulership to keep him distracted, believing that it was only a matter of time before he attempted to take rule of Purgatory from her.
So rule hell he he did and he was extremely good at it but as time went on, Lucifer found himself bored and so asked Purge permission to own a club. Yet again afraid that he was thinking of overthrowing her she agreed, demanding that 80% of the earnings were given to her. Lucifer could not accept this and put his foot down, stating that 40% was the maximum cut she would receive and Purge, desperate to avoid conflict, conceded.
and so, Club Asylum was Born.
