If I'm going to be spending my free time drawing art for someone, I'm gonna expect a LOT in return, especially if I'm being paid in fake money. If you want to be cheap with your gold then expect cheap art in return.
I am not trying to be being cheap. the matter is, is that I dont even have the gold they charge. and maybe something is wrong with me but I just cant see paying 20k 50k or over. The most i would ever pay would be 18k. and that is still a bit pricy to me. but like i said people on gaia work hard for thier gold and the people who make gold fast... well can someone tell me the trick?
Obviously you get what you pay for... 10k for a good one... uh...... If everybody else is willing to pay millions for great arts, why should good artists be willing to sell it for 10k?
Not everyone else is willing to pay millions for art! I did pretty good on my avi art (when I used to do it) and like I said I would NEVER charge over 1k! And then I thought i was being a b***h and charging to much.
Not everyone is willing to pay millions for art, certainly. But there are many people willing and able to pay that price. As long as those people exist, artists are not gonna lower their price. Artists don't have to sell to YOU when they have all these other people lined up to buy their expensive art.
If you want to make money fast... try selling art. ^^ Art should be priced fairly, but "fairly" can vary WIDELY depending on the quality of your art. Auctions are a good way of gauging the price IMO since the buyers decide the price.
if someone is willing to pay millions, that's someone who truly appreciates your art. So I would add to that, as long as there are people on gaia who have true appreciation for artists and their work, the prices will never drop
