I have see the anime and have to make time to read the manga, after all there has to be a lot more to the story then what they show in the anime. Also, I want to know why, only women should become Claymore or whatever it is that they call themselves.

The reason only women can become a claymore is because when men release their yoki it is much like sexual pleasure and it causes them to awaken.

That makes sense, come to think of it I think the anime did touch on this, but I don't remember.

Not that it goes into detail, but they do show at least one male Claymore, if I remember correctly, he shows up near the end of the anime. I don't think they go into exactly why, men shouldn't become Claymore but he did seem evil and power mad. I have to watch the anime again some time, its been over a year since I last saw it.

i tried to read the manga...but i like the anime so..

But if you like the anime ... the anime ending isnt the true ending. As the manga is still going on, and its getting pretty intense now. But it comes out like every month or so thats the bad thing >.>.

yes i know that, the anime ending was what the writers and everyone else doing the anime wanted it to end, which im find with that, that cocoon and all that and raki being all swordsman with the claymores or whatever it was, im not interested in all that, maybe one day i will read it, but as of now, i am satisfied with the anime.

I just finally got re-caught up with the series. The last chapter I read was 123. So first of all, is that the most recent? But more importantly, does anyone know what day of the month Claymore updates? This was a very bad time to get caught up. It's too exciting to stop.
