Mr Ransom 2
Do you realize how often people get circumcised as adults? not very often, 80% of the world is uncircumcised, even in the US, its a dying thing

and so its perfectly ok to do anything painful to a baby because they won't remember it, punch it in the face, it won't remember, not comparing the two, but you should get my point

Also, have you seen a video of one being done, just because they won't remember it, does not mean its ok to cause unnecessary pain, just for cosmetic reasons

and another thing, getting it done later in life is fine, thats their choice, but like I said, the vast majority of men, don't do it, and if you were circumcised and want to be uncut, there is nothing you can do to truly get it back

girls are protected from genital mutilation, why are males not? doesn't matter if one is worse, both are a violation of someone elses body, babies are human beings, not property, they should be treated as such

Well, lets look at female circumcision:

Labiaplasty: reducing elongated labia. Most women don't have need of this unless they've been through childbirth

Hoodectomy: exposes the clitoris in an attempt to increase sexual stimulation. Hoodectomy is sometimes used to treat sexual dysfunction such as anorgasmia.

Vaginoplasty: treat structural defects, or to produce aesthetic changes. Occurs mostly in male-to-female transsexuals.

these are all usually ones that women get when they're older and have need of it. They have no religous basis, and are usually done by females later in life...or males wanting to be females

Clitoridectomy: partial or complete removal of the clitoris. Does have religous background and is the closest female counterpart to male circumcision

Know what that means? NO ORGASM. Almost all women cannot achieve orgasm without clitoral stimulation. At least with male circumcision you can still feel pleasure. So I can see where female circumcision would be strongly looked down upon.

My fiance's going to choose whether we circumcise any sons or not.

I don't have a p***s, so I leave the choice to someone who does.

Personally, I'd be offended if anyone tried to change our minds/argue that we were horrible for doing it.

My son, not yours and all.

Your son's body, not yours and your husband's.

Why don't you leave the decision up to him and let him decide when he's older since it's his p***s and all?

And I don't mean to offend you, but it really is his body.

Its not exactly your body either, They are the parents, they have the right to decide to do it or not, you on the other hand have 0 legal rights to make that decision, this is the way its been and beleive me, Its the way it will stay.

I'm circumcised and I'm still very much against the practice. I do wish my parents hadn't had it done to me, and I know several other circumcised males who feel the same. I don't get why people always have this opinion that only uncut males oppose circumcision. Do you think there would be a procedure for foreskin rejuvenation if there wasn't enough demand for it to have been innovated in the first place?

I also don't get this, "parents have the right to make choice for their kids," BS. Sure, they get to make decisions like what brand of diapers they're going to buy, and whether or not to dress them up in ridiculously over-done baby clothes, etc. What other body parts does a parent "have the right" to decide they want to lop off with no real reason other than that they think it's ugly? Any? At all?

Make parents getting their childrens ears peirced illegal then, and the reason why I say most circumcised men are fine with it, is because its reality everyone Ive met so far has been alright with it, why is there a procedure for growing it back? Because of peer pressure, because of people feeling self conscious, people like Mr Ransom going around saying "Parents are mutiliating their childs p***s!" So of course, cut men are going to end up feeling odd and diffrent.

I agree. Parents getting their children's ears pierced should be illegal.

Peer pressure? You think guys typically stand around the locker room jeering each other to have foreskin rejuvenation surgery? Especially considering there's a large majority of cut males in (at least) most southern and mid-western states, I doubt it. And how many men have you actually talked to about their penises? I mean, really. How do you know every male you've met feels one way or the other? I'm not sure what you sexual orientation is, but as far as I'm aware, most straight guys don't do a whole lot of talking about their dicks with other guys. And especially not to admit their dissatisfied with it.

I think the more likely answer is that men want to most possible sensation during sex, and foreskin offers greater sensation. It sounds like a much more logical conclusion as to why it's an appealing option to me.

So you want to get off faster so your girl can get irritated about not having an orgasm and constantly be disappointed? Because that's what more sensation will do in the sense you're talking about. However, if you've always been that way, it's no different from circumcised men. . how would I know? Vertical hood piercing. It creates more sensation, until you've had it for a while. Then it feels no different than it felt without the piercing. Because your body gets used to it.

Im not straight and thats probably why my position from being anti-circumcision moved to being neither against nor for it, Ive been both with guys cut and uncut and honestly there never was the slightest diffrence, and im pretty much open with most of my freinds, so Ive heard their views on it as well.

Honestly there aren't really any practical reason to do it or not do it. Sensitivity is something you get used to after a while. Of course, I couldn't imagine sex to ever be pleasurable for a woman if men were any more sensitive than they are now. As for looks, honestly I don't find it attractive. I've seen an uncut p***s and...ew. But, as said, children are too young to remember it. And it's not really doing any damage so if the person doesn't regret it, and I've yet to meet anyone who wishes they weren't circumcised, then that's their business.

Agreed

Well, yeah, but it's the only body he gets and he has it for his entire life. Which, after those 18 years, should be about 57 considering that the average male lifespan in the US is 75.

I just don't think it's fair to perform unnecessary surgeries on infants when they can't say, "No, I don't want that." Circumcision is considered cosmetic. It's just something to think about, is all.

I'm gay. confused

And, you know, men don't really have to just stop having sex because they have an orgasm. There's a refractory period where you can't orgasm again for 10-20 minutes (depending on the guy) but other than that, you can still get an erection and keep going. A man doesn't even have to stop in between every time. At most, it might just take a short rest period to get it up again, and there are other ways to pleasure your partner while you wait.

This is only a problem if you're uncreative.

Either way, sensitivity depends on what you're used to.

I've only ever seen men on the internet complaining about it, I've even asked several men I know directly about it.

Yet almost no one cares when a little girl's ears are pierced. I don't see a big anti-ear piercing movement. It leaves permanent scars, after all.

My sister even took her daughters straight from the hospital to get their ears pierced.

Plus, isn't circumcision harder/more risky as the boy gets older?

As it is, it's not my choice since I lack the p***s, as I said.

My fiance is circumcised and doesn't care.

I've personally met men who are very happy to be uncircumcised and men who are very unhappy that they are circumcised because they learned exactly what was removed and what its functions were. And honestly? I prefer sex with uncircumcised men. It feels better.

I am also anti-infant piercing. It's their body and their choice no matter what.

Circumcision is risky at all stages of life. At least older males can be anesthetized.

But it is partly your choice. He's your son, too.

Do you know how many complications are possible when an older man is circumcised? You do realise they dont do it at infancy just for the heck of it right?

I don't find it to be okay to do to babies and children. It's fine when it's a consenting adult doing it.
It's not an acceptable practice where I live.
