Mr Ransom 2
Do you realize how often people get circumcised as adults? not very often, 80% of the world is uncircumcised, even in the US, its a dying thing
and so its perfectly ok to do anything painful to a baby because they won't remember it, punch it in the face, it won't remember, not comparing the two, but you should get my point
Also, have you seen a video of one being done, just because they won't remember it, does not mean its ok to cause unnecessary pain, just for cosmetic reasons
and another thing, getting it done later in life is fine, thats their choice, but like I said, the vast majority of men, don't do it, and if you were circumcised and want to be uncut, there is nothing you can do to truly get it back
girls are protected from genital mutilation, why are males not? doesn't matter if one is worse, both are a violation of someone elses body, babies are human beings, not property, they should be treated as such

Well, lets look at female circumcision:
Labiaplasty: reducing elongated labia. Most women don't have need of this unless they've been through childbirth
Hoodectomy: exposes the clitoris in an attempt to increase sexual stimulation. Hoodectomy is sometimes used to treat sexual dysfunction such as anorgasmia.
Vaginoplasty: treat structural defects, or to produce aesthetic changes. Occurs mostly in male-to-female transsexuals.
these are all usually ones that women get when they're older and have need of it. They have no religous basis, and are usually done by females later in life...or males wanting to be females
Clitoridectomy: partial or complete removal of the clitoris. Does have religous background and is the closest female counterpart to male circumcision
Know what that means? NO ORGASM. Almost all women cannot achieve orgasm without clitoral stimulation. At least with male circumcision you can still feel pleasure. So I can see where female circumcision would be strongly looked down upon.
