The only thing he most likely done was for ever lost the love and respect of his daughter
it's for this very reason why you hear about Kids Blowing there parents away in their Sleep
As I have always tried to tell Brainless People The fastest way in the world to turn your kids against you is to violate their Privacy this the number one thing you just do not do!

Also Let this also be a hard lesson for everyone here contrary to what most people believe Family members do not respect each others Privacy!

Old news. And the right to privacy is something that's earned. She obviously lost her privileges to her privacy because of previous acts (since she was already grounded). If she wanted privacy she should have bought her own computer, then they would have had no right being on it.
