I'm glad there is finally a sticky letting people know giant spam posts are completely useless. Everyone believes the rumors too quickly.

!NEW!
Attention! This is just a quick and helpful reminder to everyone spamming/bumping for gold. The size of your post does NOT affect how much gold you get! A simple "BUMP" or "SPAM" will get you the same amount as posting it over and over and over again. The only thing that does is irritate people and make it hard to view the entire page. Thank you, and good luck getting gold!

A lot of things would have to be taken into account there. How many times you refresh. How long it's been since your last post. How frequently you post (to establish a mean average). It would have to be written into the javascript to check the size of the post. I doubt they took the time for that. Otherwise they'd encourage flooding their databases.

though i dont support !NEW! anymore.. i think their thread was more in depth and would have deserved a sticky if it were just guu and glass who started it.
