I think so too.

I keep hearing people say that the writers have something big for Cas.
I hope it's true, but I seriously doubt he's dead.
They can't end such an important character's story without giving us a real idea of what happened to him.
I wouldn't dream of missing out on this show, but I'd be crushed if he's really gone.

I met him at a convention.
Crowley, Jo, Bobby, the female hacker from last season, and another guy that I can't remember his name were also there.
I've met so many awesome people at conventions.
I met two of my biggest crushes (Castiel and Spike from Buffy) at conventions.
