on a random note... I was really happy the prince was totally bad-a** when his heart was complete! I mean... the entire time my head was: "Eh... yeah, ok. Anime pretty prince being protected by a princess... I mean, the Japanese like their girlie men I suppose but aren't princes supposed to protect princesses normally?"

But cause he was like a puppet I sort of let myself ease into his total defenselessness... but MAN did he show me up in certain parts! I was really like: HAWT DAMN! I'M NOT F*@KING WITH THAT GUY! o_O

So far, it's not bad. I'm not fond of Myuto or Duck's voices so much. But then, I didn't really like Myuto anyway. xd I love Fakir's voice in both versions, though. But I've only got the first three or so episodes, so there's not much to go from. lol.

2. Myuto, the pantless wonder that he was for most of the anime, surprised everyone.

Wait a sec... they're not calling Ahiru "duck" in English are they?
P.S: the story Fakir was writing.. you don't think maybe is would be a prelude to a movie or anything right? Since it's been a while?

I would hope not, just calling someone "Duck" in english spunds absurd. And a movie would be wonderful, though I believe Fakir's writing was only to symbolize his passion for it. Since her gave Ahiru the "It's OK to be yourself even if you're a duck speech."

Considering Ahiru literally means Duck in Japanese, yes, they do. Let's face it, it wouldn't have the same effect if they left her name as Ahiru in the English version. We would take it as a normal name when it isn't. Just like Neko-sensei and the anteater. Neko-sensei is Mr. Cat and Anteater is Anteaterina. It's supposed to sound absurd. That's one of the points of the series: the irony of a girl named Duck, who actually is a duck.

As for the story he was writing: I don't know. I almost think that if they did make a movie turning her into a girl, it would kind of ruin her final decision in the anime. Her choice was to become what she really was: a duck. If she became human again, wouldn't that defeat the finality of her decision?

*sigh* Your wisdom rings true to me Euclids. But it would have been nice for Ahiru to confess her love to Another Prince if you catch my drift. Then that way, she wouldn't have to disappear at all! wink

But thats just me... I know it would destroy the pure innocence of that girl if she 'two-timed' her prince of the story... even if in the end... she screamed Fakir about the same if not more times then she did Muto/Mythos.

I wonder myself honestly, if Ahiru actually knew her own feelings for him and vice-versa.
Even if it seemed like it... it's never truly defined.

Princess Tutu! I've only seen the first half of it, but from what I saw I loved. I always enjoy these fairytale like stories. And I've seen those 2 AMV's before too. Very cool. I wish I owned the series. crying

But then Mythos/whatever would not have truly been restored. But yeah, I figured some couple re-arranging was to be done. xd I mean, come on. Two gals in love with one guy, but there's another (arguably better) guy hanging around in the background.

Dangit, though... You're making me want to go back and rewatch it... gonk lol.
