Hello wanderer, here you will find a little bit of old, and a lot of new.
Those whom you may have become accustomed to seeing have faded,
and new faces have come to grace your sight.
We here in the Austin Farmer legacy have seen many turns of this thread.
The history has been erased from the pages of this thread. Open your heart.
Now we have come full circle. You will see a shredded list of rules, with a
new policy in place. You will not be hounded or reported. Unless you break
the cardinal rule. So do read the rules. And keep it honest. Lets try and bring
this legacy back to the forefront of gaian lives.

● Follow the Terms of Service of Gaia.
● This is a Donate To The Person Above You thread, you must donate to the person above you and you may not skip users in the thread, unless of course they are bots, bumpers, and if their post does not have the code word.
● In order to post in Austin's thread you need to have 100 posts, no if ands or buts about it.
● You must have your PMs set to everyone.
● Your profile must be public.
● The donation minimum is 1,000 gold. There is no maximum. You may NOT donate items unless someone is explicitly asking for it, or you see it on their wishlist. EDIT 5/12 4:29pm EST due to popular demand if an item is worth 10k+ you may still donate it
● It is mandatory that you gift back in your trade. This means on your side of the trade send a heart item, or flowers, or something your donor is collecting.
● Donations are to be made through the trading system.
● Trades may be canceled if not accepted within 7 days.
● Do not post again until your trade for the person above you has been submitted.
● You can not make your own donation guidelines. This goes for saying, "You give minimum, you get minimum" comments.
● If you have not sent a trade to a user in 20 minutes, the person below you can kindly remind you to donate to them. If you haven't sent a trade, and have re-posted, they can also send you a kind reminder by pm.
● The codeword is Alms-Awesomeness. Make sure this is in size 9 font or larger, and always in black. Refrain from posting it within a wall of text nor within a spoiler, it must be immediately visible.
● All advertisements must be in your signature, not in your posts.
● You are not allowed to have a public black list. This goes for skipper lists.
● You may not delete your posts. Nor Edit your Post once you hit submit.
● Keep Quote Towers to a minimum of 5
● Flaming anyone in this thread is not tolerated and will result in a ban
● When posting, you accept the terms and conditions of Gaiaonline and this thread. You accept the fact that if you have not read the rules, you will be banned without warning.

Donation rule updates, items of 10k+ worth may be donated if otherwise not specified by the donatee, this it to continue to keep junk from being given, but keep the items donated flexible.

stating it as a Donate To The Person Above You thread.
It became the first ever of it's kind and did not have a donation minimum.
People could give whatever they desired and it was accepted.
Austin has since left gaia, and his thread is now taken care of by the gaian community

What is a DTTPAY? And WHY?


DTTPAY is short for Donate to the Person Above You. A DTTPAY is created for gaians to share the wealth. Whenever you post, you must send a donation to the gaian who posed above you. Who is Austin Farmer II?


Austin Farmer II is the mule for the DTTPAY. As mentioned in the introduction and History, the original Austin Farmer has left gaia. We kept his name due to the fact his name brings security, and his name tells all those after, he was the first to come up with this idea. And made it a success!
The DTTPAY is now run by the Co-Owners and monitored by our dedicated moderators.

What is the difference between a Co-Owner and a Moderator?


Co-Owners, run the thread, create and run events, change/edit the layout among many other actions. Unless specified...ONLY a thread moderator may message a Co-Owner about thread issues.
Moderators, these people are a God Send for the co-owners, they take care of the day to day functions and thread life. They are the people you contact with any questions, concerns, and problems. ALWAYS go to a Moderator first, unless otherwise stated.

What do I do when I am skipped?


If someone has skipped you, report them to a thread moderator, or a co-owner (ONLY if they are online). Do not message Austin, that is the thread moderators job to do so. You must provide proofwhen sending any complaints to a thread moderator. For an explanation of "proof" and how to report a user to a thread mod please click here.

Why can we ONLY use the trading system when Donating to the Person Above Me?


This is to ensure that there is proof you donated to someone in case a scene occurs in which someone claims you didn't donate.

Why can't I give away an item to the highest donor?


This is a variant of a Highest Donator Contest, which is not allowed and is against the T.O.S.
