Back in PR, my gay brother and my mother (huge "Twilight" fans) said that I was an uncivilized otaku because I rather read some racy manga about drugs, sex and rock and roll (NANA) than a new literary masterpiece.

Make 'em read 'HellSing' or 'Vampire Hunter D'. twisted I would take that manga anyday over reading 'Twilight' again. I don't hate it, but I don't want to read it again.

i actually enjoyed the Vampire Hunter D novels. Hated Twilight! The book was just...terrible...

I am proud to be a part of the Twilight resistance. First: sharpies and bathroom stalls, then the world! There's one bathroom on the third floor of my school which my best friend and i call the twilight bathroom because we have single handedly covered the door of the hadicapped stall - which opens up so you have to look at it when you walk in - with anti-twilight phrases. well, half of it. the other half is coated with unintelligent sparklepire supporter drabble. one day we were actually assulted by 3 girls in team edward shirts. we kicked their asses not only in the name of vampires, but literature itself!

Twilight was the first book I'd ever read that I wanted to burn. ironically it was only 2 months before that I had made a vow as a lover of literature to never burn a book (unless is I was freezing to death and needed to fuel the fire but otherwise...) so yeah i get it. crying

I know. I did go and sign up for the TwilightSucks forum, and I noticed that all the rabid fans are of the "AntiTwilights should be seen and not heard, but we can do whatever the hell we want" kind of attitude. Is it just me?

Most of them are hypocrites, and some of them can't write above a sixth grade level, hence their love of Twilight, I suppose........

And what is with the "Only the hott vampires glitter" crap? gonk It makes me want to cry when I've seen how Miss Meyers has ruined an entire generation's idea of a true vampire.

You could do something else to it. like spray a can of that key board cleaner stuff all over it so it shatters. ir rip it up and flush the pieces. or use them to make a pinata of edward cullen then hit it really really hard at your birthday party... there are a lot of options.
