Quest Thread

I have a question also, my dog (a pure bred pomerianian) is inbred, so her right back knee poped out of socket, the vet says it's a miricle she's still walking and how it doesn't seem to bother her. but recently she has had pains in it, and has some difficulty jumping up on things. is there any meds or something that can improve leg function or ease joint pain

O.O

The more I read this, the more I thought "wow, I should thank these people even though I don't have any pet issues." And then remembered I did!
So, firstly, thank to Xana and all her helpers! This is a really great thing, you guys!. <3
Secondly, I have a pet female chihuahua. She's fairly old, eleven, I believe. Recently my male chihuahua (and her life partner) passed away at the age of ten. It's been a few weeks now. She's a long haired, so we get her shaved in the summers (I live in very, very hot weather.) We noticed how tiny she was! When she was in the vet for her grooming and shaving they did say she had lost three pounds!
I'm rather at a loss of what to do with her. She was very confused for the first week or two, and now she realizes he is gone but my issue is with her diet. She lost three pounds, and we're wondering how much she ate before my other dog passed because now she doesn't eat. We've tried every single dog food I can think of (from Moist and Meat, Benaful, and Ceasers to Ol' Roy) and she refuses to eat every single one. She doesn't have many good teeth left and so she hasn't ever eaten hard food.
She'll eat people food only! This is bad for her seeing as it's an all meat diet. Still, I don't stop feeding it to her because I am afraid she'll just starve to death not eating if I don't. D: A close friend is a real animal wiz (trains dogs to be therapy dogs), and she recommended some stuff called Rescue Remedy. It's supposed to help with stuff like this but it doesn't seem to be working. Any advice?

Hi my cat has one black whisker. Why is this? Is it serious? Thanks

@AnNaDeL, please don't bump. It's against the rules and I'd hate to see this thread punished. ;__;
Wanted to thank you for something else, I remembered! I know I've seen at least thirty people ask this kind of thing. I have a tabby cat, maybe.. Ten? I can't even remember right now, but she's not old. Only about half her life span. : ) She's always been very shy. She only likes me. She sleeps in the day, in the closet, a bookshelf hiding behind a folded up roll-away bed, etc. During the night the skulks her way out and lays behind my chair or on my desk. She's a very sweet cat, just shy.
Lately I was away from home for a week and a half, and my cat went very out of her style and started to bug my mother. At first it seemed only a cry for food. If her bowl was empty she's go meow on her bed at some ungodly hour to get fed. Now that I'm home, my mother just called me in and there was my cat, curled against her pillow. She was meowing and rubbing my mothers hands.
I shouldn't be worried about her change of attitude, I bet. I worried her being so cuddly was a bad sign, maybe she was just starting to pass but.. After reading you responses to others I'm not so much. She is eating and she is using the bathroom all per regular. I bet she just thought I was the gone one and she was adjusting to my mother to be her care giver. : ) Or maybe she's finally adjusting to my mother anyways! xD Hah.
Either way, thanks again for the thread. Reading all your other replies to similar happenings has made me sure my cat is just fine. <3

My cats keep peeing on our bathroom rugs. Why do they do this, and how can we stop them?
